Even though nobody should say goodbye to a loved one,I found this funeral company so supportive and understanding to all the wishes my relative wanted the arrangements were put into action they never tried to offer anything and I couldn't recommend them enough.What a lovely family business and the staff were patient and understanding to every need.Thank you to you all.

When my husband passed away in hospital a piece of valuable advice I was given: make sure you visit a few funeral directors as it has to be the right one for you. After visiting the local funeral directors where I live I truly was unsure who to go with, that's when I was recommended to speak to Jefferies. After a brief telephone call to find out some details as Jefferies was a little further away, I booked an appointment to speak to Maria the following day. After the meeting there was no hesitation in booking Jefferies as they were everything I was looking for even with recommending Paul the Celebrant who was amazing. The team at Jefferies are wonderful, very friendly, helpful, comforting and very patient when it came to us making decisions. Chris spoke about Ed with such warmth and I knew he was being well looked after. We went to visit Ed and he looked so peaceful and Chris being so attentive to detail and with huge respect had attached a remembrance poppy to Ed's top what with Ed be ... ing ex service. The day of the funeral came and everything was just perfect. I cannot recommend Jefferies Funeral Directors any higher. more

The service provided by Jefferies was excellent, both before the cremation service, when explaining about, and dealing with, the arrangements, and on the day when providing support and guidance for the service. I found their presence and support to be positioned very well from the point of view of being discreet, supportive and friendly yet not familiar.

I had made enquiries to several other funeral directors and chose Jefferies for the simplified approach to the offer of services which meant there was no pressure for additional services to be added and set clear definitions of where the services started and stopped. I also very much appreciated the more personal, patient and understanding responses to my questions when compared to the other companies.

Losing our father was a very hard ordeal.

So having then to deal with the funeral and collection was a thought to far.
The guys at Jeffery of Hove where wonderful from being very supportive and informative throughout and help send my dad off in style

Chris was so kind and helpful. Along with the other staff that I spoke to over the phone. Everything went very smoothly at this very sad time. The day of the funeral was very special. Chris was very friendly and professional, on a very difficult for my family, when we were saying goodbye to my 96 year Mum. Thank you .

Chris and Maria provided outstanding service at a very difficult time in our lives. The sudden loss of my Dad completely threw our family and we did not know what to do. We looked at several different funeral directors, wanting to find somewhere local who we could trust to look after Dad. I cannot express our gratitude for their compassion and understanding. They helped us every step of the way, listening to us and guiding us to make the right decisions. Chris was always ready to offer advice and Maria was so friendly and supportive, always available at the end of the phone answering all my questions, big or small. We felt as if we’d known Chris for years and appreciated his humour and empathy. It was really important for us to have one consistent point of contact, someone we knew and felt like we had built a relationship with. 
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jefferies Funeral Directors to anyone going through the loss of a loved one. They could not be in bett ... er hands.

Maria and Simon were warm and caring and nothing was too much to ask of them, we felt that we were cared for as if we were a member of thier families and felt nothing but love was shown to us in regards to the planning of the funeral, the care of us and our mum as well as the after care. I have used Jefferies on a number of occasions and as a family we have faced very difficult times in recent months, having lost Mum and Brother Michael in a short space of time, who were very close, dearly loved family members.
The team at Jefferies Funeral Services, Simon, Kim, Chris and Maria have provided wonderful support and help throughout theses extremely default and upsetting times.
Their kindness and understanding have been exceptional as always, and I thank them all most sincerely for helping myself and my family through this particularly painful time.
