During my initial phone call to Cogans I was shocked to hear that David Cogan was no longer in charge and I had some reservations/worries as he was the only person I have ever dealt with, including recently for my Dad's funeral. He had also known our family for a long time.

My worries were very quickly alleviated and the service offered by Josephine and team were first class from start to finish.

I could not have asked for better support and guidance during this very tough time. I never once felt like I was asking a silly question or that my visits were inconvenient or asking too much.
Attention to detail on everything made me feel so much better about Mum's service and how she was looked after at Cogan's. The team offer such a professional yet approachable service which is exactly what I needed.

Jo kept me updated at every stage and communicated everything with me in a clear and concise manner - much needed during such a tough time.
This wonderful s ... ervice continued during the funeral, even allowing a detour to take flowers to the churchyard without rushing me or family members on this difficult day.
The support has continued beyond that day, in terms of ashes and guidance on everything involved in the internment and also signposting to additional services available (jewellery for example) which I have been most grateful for.

I would never ring anyone else.

I cannot praise Ronald Cogan & Sons Funeral Directors highly enough. As a family we have used this company for years. I was quite concerned to hear that the Cogan family had recently sold, however, my concerns were completely unfounded. Josephine and Heather were simply excellent. Their highly professional and polite service removed the stress and anxiety at a very difficult time. I would recommend them unreservedly.

Josephine from Cogans really helped me through after my mums passing. Apart from the absolute professionalism of how she helped me put my mum to rest, her genuine caring nature made the funeral and the arrangements so much easier. I will recommend this company in a heartbeat. Thank you so much.

Josephine was just wonderful in helping to support me in arranging my dad’s funeral; which she did with the utmost kindness, sincerity and sensitivity during such an emotional time. I also want to thank the gentlemen who helped on the day of the funeral, and to all of the staff behind the scenes who looked after my dad in a kind and dignified manner. The team at Ronald’s and cogan were amazing so helpful friendly and approachable.Josephine was so kind nothing was any trouble. My mum was cared for with the upmost dignity and respect. I would definitely recommend them.
