Steve Lazenby at J Ribbons was extremely helpful. The whole event went very smoothly, especially considering the Covid circumstances being so restrictive and unhelpful. We have no reservations in recommending this company in all ways. It was also very reasonably priced, which is not the prime concern, but helps at a stressful time.

Amazing, compassionate service from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Steve and the team went above and beyond to make sure my Mam had the best send off they could possibly give. Especially in these circumstances.

Steven at j ribbons was excellent throughout from the moment my nanna passed away I called Steven and he sorted every Thing for us, a time like this is very heart breaking and stressful however Steven made things very easy as he sorted every Thing from the advert in the paper, collecting and looking after her from hull royal in his chapel of rest were we as a family could visit her there before the crematorium, very smart very respectful and made things go very easy aswell as took care of every little detail from the flowers to the cars etc.
Would highly recommend in this horrible time as Steven just sorted every Thing for us. We as a family thank you for this Steven.

I would like to thank J.Ribbons for the outstanding service they gave to the family on the loss of my husband Ian. The comfort and support Steve gave to us all, was beyond words; he listened to us, explained things that we didn’t know and gave us time to come to terms with our loss. Thank you Steve for your care to detail, your understanding and all of the extra work you did, like going out of your way to pick up flowers on a Sunday for us. The whole family commented on the respect and care you showed to them. The funeral was organised with such courtesy and attention, we will always remember the amazing farewell you gave Ian, Thank You.

After losing my father a couple of weeks ago. We got in touch with ribbons. To look after him. And by god. We are so glad that we did. Steve could not do enough for you. He always went that extra mile to help you anyway he could. Always at the end off the phone day or night. And the care that they give my dad was out of this world. When we went to visit my dad. He look so peaceful. And they had done everything we had ask for. And more. On the day of the funeral the support we got as a family was fantastic. From the ribbons team. Thankyou very much for all of your help and support u give us at this sad time. We will never forget what u did for us. Love from all the family x

Steve and his team were excellent. Very caring and compassionate. He talked us through all the arrangements with great sensitivity . He kept in touch right until the funeral to make sure everything went smoothly, which it did. I would have no hesitation in recommending J. Ribbons Funeral Services .
