Twice I stated very clearly I would of liked the metal from my uncles legs to have made up a piece of jewellery like a ring or cross , I went to collect his ashes and that's all I got a tub of ash , of course I'm very very disappointed infa t damn right pissed off

Service was truly 5 star.
My husband had a prepaid plan.  This made everything so easy.  The staff were wonderful, so caring and respectful, it’s such a difficult time the loss of a loved one.
I highly recommend them.

Staff who dealt with us at the Co-op were lovely. Very friendly and very helpful. What’s not nice is when you’re having to tell them on multiple occasions they are calling your grandma by totally the wrong name. They did apologise which of course is fine, then today they sent my mum a letter asking for feed back on my grans funeral and again using someone else’s name. Shameful, this shouldn’t happen! 
The service went well. The funeral cars looked lovely however one broke down at the crematorium and was replaced by a mini bus/ taxi. Not exactly the look we paid for, but on the day of the funeral it’s the least of your concerns. To say there’s room for improvement is an understatement could another provider do better, probably. It’s not the cheapest so I did expect better than this.

I found the overall service to be excellent. Kelly took care of everything and gave me plenty of time for me to sort the things I needed to do for the funeral with no pressure and was quick to respond to any questions I had. The rest of the team always made me welcome when I visited my mother at rest and were very respectful. What was a very difficult time was made all the more easier and less stressful by all the team. Thank you.

All of the staff here were excellent. The undertaker Kayleigh was in control and so compassionate, she knew exactly every next step and carried it all out very efficiently with her team.  I consider she went further in her emotional support than anyone could expect, when struggling emotionally she caringly guided me on.  Everything went like clockwork and we never felt rushed to get on with anything. I would 100% recommended the co-op funeral care, although I don’t want to use their services again in a hurry despite their wonderful service.  Thank you Holderness Road branch ❤️

Everyone commented on how lovely the service at the crematorium was. Dad wasn’t religious but it was respectful, uplifting and really did him proud. We had a beautiful wicker casket with a Garland of yellow roses around it and a spray. Everything just as we had asked for. Kelly looked after us and and made sure it was as expected. Everyone said we did him proud and that’s all we could ask for on such a sad day.
