From start to finish Lee at Garton and son was excellent in the way he dealt with my fathers funeral. Everything was clear on prices and never pushed on anything we didn't want. Always available to speak to if we had any queries.

Everyone we dealt with was helpful, kind and considerate. We were guided through the process with patience and understanding and felt we were give excellent advice.
The funeral was exactly as we had planned and we were very satisfied with the service we received at such a difficult time.

We cannot recommend Garton & Son ltd highly enough
The customer service and attention to detail was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble. They assisted us at every turn and gave my mum the send off she not only deserved but also would have wanted. They arranged everything but the flowers ( my cousin is a florist which is the only reason they didn’t handle this also )
A special thank you to Lee who was with us every step of the way. We requested a humanist service with a celebrant with a sense of humour. We got exactly what we asked for, at a very competitive price 
Thank you from my dad brother and myself. We wouldn’t hesitate to use you again but hopefully not for a long time to come

We can't rate the Garton team highly enough, we would give 6 Stars if we could. Eric was so helpful and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble. His experience of all aspects of the process from dealing with the NHS, Registration, the Council, Church etc was fantastic. We crossed many unexpected hurdles which would have been so difficult if Eric hadn't been there helping and guiding us. We were also encouraged to make our mum's funeral as personal as we wanted - we decorated the casket, mum had a warm throw inside the casket and a comfy blanket to lay on, and Garton's did her hair and make-up. They also 'facilitated' everyone on the day so we didn't have to worry about who did what. It really helped with the grieving process to think we did everything to make this personal for our mum. The Garton team are experienced, respectful, and very, very empathetic. Truly the best and we are so thankful for their support.

The company went above and beyond to take care of Daniel from the very beginning. They dealt with his family making the arrangements with much care and consideration and were always available to guide and advise at any time. Fraser was amazing and every member of staff we dealt with were efficient and kind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. At such a dark time in my life they made things a little easier.

From the very first phone call, which was one of the hardest calls I have ever had to make. Eric was professional, caring and the calming voice I needed at one of the most difficult times I’ve had to face. Eric talked me trough the process at the start and continued to be there supporting me throughout. Giving advice and a kind word, I felt he really knew and understood exactly what I and my late husband wanted for the service. The celebrant Carol was also amazing, one comment from one of my sons was “did Carol know my husband” he thought she was a family friend, because of the way she spoke about my husband at the service.  I certainly felt like I had gained 2 friends in Carol and Eric which helped enormously to get me through a really tough time. Eric promised to make it perfect and he certainly did deliver on his promise.  I can’t thank Eric and Carol enough, they were both amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend M Gartons & Sons.

Dear Frazer,
We would like to thank you and your team at Garton’s for your professionalism and sympathy at this distressing time. Whilst Denise was poorly we lost her very suddenly and unexpectedly. We wanted Denise’s service to be a celebration of her life and from the start Frazer could see our vision. From the distinctive coffin to the magnificent horses the day was as perfect as we could have wished for despite being one of the most upsetting and stressful situations we as a family have ever found ourselves in.
