Just one or two small problems.
Mr McDougall made two mistakes with family names.
We were to receive the flowers from the coffin but didn’t get them
I think some pages were missing from some of the order of service

My sister and I were very impressed with the wonderful service we received from Wylie & Lochhead, and will have no hesitation in recommending them to others. A heartfelt thank you to all involved, with particular thanks to Cathie Dooley.
However, we felt that a call from the Co-op Legal Team was mistimed (far too soon). We appreciated the initial offer of support, but on questioning the appropriateness of the personal information we were thereafter being asked to provide, the lady caller was overly persistent.

She went out of her way to make planning a funeral as straightforward as possible, nothing was too much bother. We were disappointed that person initially dealing with us was changed. However, we found Cathie to be compassionate, helpful and supportive throughout the whole process.
As there was a need for speed, there were some difficulties with the production of the order of service, as it was not clear when it was necessary to move from 4 pages to 8 pages when photographs were included.
The car taking us to the crematorium arrived punctually and everything at the crematorium ran smoothly.

From the first phone call to the end we were delighted with the service we received. Cathie put us at ease with her professional but kind & caring manner. 
What I did like was the trust shown by the company to us the customer - unlike other funeral directors , they only wanted a deposit & the final invoice was sent after the funeral. This may sound trivial but having used an alternative company for a previous funeral , we had to pay everything upfront at the first meeting & when in the depth of grief it made the whole thing feel like a cold business transaction rather than arranging the final service for a loved one.
I would have no hesitation in using or recommending their services.

All staff were professional but personal and made the process of arranging and carrying out the funeral easy. 
A special mention for Cathie in the office - who has now arranged 2 funerals for us in the last 2 years- she feels like a friend as well as being professional about her job.
