Despite our many variations leading up to the memorial service, your final arrangements, together with the overall timing both at St James's church and Poole Crematorium was impeccable and we have received a magnificent response from all who attended my late brother's funeral.

I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Anthony and his team at Nicholas O'Hara funeral directors. Arranging my father's cremation & funeral is by far the hardest thing I have ever done, and Anthony held our hand through it all. From visiting our home to talk through options, to arranging a beautiful service - everything was taken care of. Every call and every question was answered sympathetically and with kindness, and nothing was ever too much bother. The added 'little touches' were so very much appreciated... the care calls to mum to see how she was, the comprehensive Celebrant's copy of the order of service, the little wallet-sized memory cards and so much more. Thank you Anthony and all of the team who supported us during our most difficult days. We won't hesitate to recommend you.

We first used Nicholas O'Hara Funeral Directors when my Farther passed away 15 years ago.
Sadly our Mum passed away just recently and we did not hesitate to call Anthony O'Hara to do our mums funeral.

At such a sad time, we needed someone to advise us and guide us on what to do, Anthony took control of every thing, because he had taken care of our dad he new exactly what we wanted and he guided us through what we needed to do and in what order to do things. We found it so helpful, we took Anthony's advise on everything.

We had a lovely funeral, just the way our Mum would have liked it, and the compliments on the day have been amazing.
We cannot speak highly enough of everyone in the company that we dealt with regarding the funeral arrangements, they were all very respectful, and compassionate.
Nothing was too much trouble. And they kept us informed of every thing from beginning to the end.

As a family we can highly recommend Nicholas O'Hara Funeral Directors one hundred percent.

I can't recommend them highly enough. O'Hara's were ultra efficient, yet never rushed us. They were flexible in the face of last minute changes of plan. The service sheets were produced to a high standard. The bearers were dignified and professional. The cars were comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was efficient liaison with florists, church and crematorium. The price was very reasonable considering the service we got. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Very happy with everything. They were supportive, covered everything, and were dignified and efficient on the day of the funeral. Grateful that they came late on the day Chris died so that the family could have lots of time with him. I appreciated a home visit in the early stages. They understood that it was a Catholic funeral and the coffin and temporary cross on the grave were very much in keeping - the crucifix on the coffin was just as Chris would have wanted. I chose O'Haras because of a personal recommendation from a widowed friend and I would unhesitatingly recommend them to others.

Anthony, Chris and all the team did an outstanding job in the arranging and execution of the funeral of my late wife Vivienne Wilkinson.
They were very professional but very caring at the same time, a difficult balance to achieve ,no detail was too small or overlooked.
They helped to make a very difficult day go without a hitch.
I cannot recommend the company too highly.

Everything was carried out with maximum efficiency, sensitivity and care. Arrangements were also made with great compassion for my son and I to visit the Chapel at the Directors on  2 separate occasions. Many thanks to Philip who has seen me through two close family bereavements in 3 months. Also to Natalie who printed the Service Sheets and all the girls who always answered the phone in a very caring and sympathetic way.

These guys are truly the most professional, compassionate and caring individuals that I have ever met.
Nothing was too much trouble and the phone calls along the way, just to check that we were all OK meant such a lot.
This is my first ever experience with the process of a funeral and it was made so easy with such kindness and thought for the family as a whole.

At a very painful tme for our family Nick O'Hara was the consummate Funerl Director, full of compassion and empathy, and that impacted on the rest of his staff at their Wimborne branch and we were able to hold a memorable service to say goodbye to our beloved son.

At every stage everyone was polite, kind and very efficient and Philip phoned me regularly  before and after the service to check on me and the arrangements 
I wouldn't hesitate  to recommend O 'Hara's to anyone.
With their help and Chris who gave a wonderful eulogy the day of my husband's funeral was a wonderful celebration of his life and not what I had dreaded.

At one of the worst times in your lives you need a caring and understanding group of people to help you and that is what you get with Nicholas O'Hara's. We have used them 3 times in the past and so when my grandma passed recently there was only one funeral directors I wanted and they outdid themselves, the respect and care shown towards grandma as well as us mourners was second to none. Nicholas rang me regularly, just to check I was doing ok and he made a sad and stressful time a little easier. The drivers of the mourners cars were kind, friendly and understanding and they helped my disabled uncle to get in the car with no hesitation. Even when we wanted to see grandma in the chapel of rest they arranged it within a day and we were told 'take as long as you need' no rushing, just total care. I cannot recommend them enough, my grandma would have loved the service which was beautiful, well prepared and respectful. They may be just doing their jobs but they put 150% into it.
