Everyone has been so kind and caring, in what has truly been a hideous time for myself and my family. This was our first time having to arrange a funeral, and Kate was so lovely and patient with us, which made the process much more bearable, Thank you

My husdand & I were very happy with everything that was done for my step dads funeral. Everything we asked for was done & all the staff were polite & helpful.
We would recomend other people to use them.

The day was organised really well by Kate,she told us what she was doing and when we had to be at a certain places and made the whole day so easy when it could have been much more difficult for us and would recommend the Coop funeral service to other people.

Dawn and all her team could not have been more sympathetic, helpful or efficient in dealing with every aspect of my father's recent death. I simply cannot speak too highly of the service that they provided.

1. our initial contact involved a discussion about Embalming, but to this day I still don't understand why?
2. the third party AV contractor offers a service involving either JPEGs or MPEGs but I'm not sure if CoOp staff really understand the difference
3. I'm grateful that staff from Dorchester got involved because Weymouth staff need help

My meeting in the Weymouth funeral office was very compassionate with Annabell and the funeral directors who suggested the butterfly hearse, which was very appropriate for my wife Sue. Visits to see Sue by the family members were well organised and flexible due to timing etc. I actually found the funeral enjoyable to carry out with experienced ministers, church staff and Kate and her colleagues. In the end we had six pullbearers, who were very proud to take Sue into the church.
Sue's hats remain in my possession.

The funeral Director Kate  was lovely although a little difficult to get in touch with at times but the network of other staff did their upmost to answer questions when asked . The staff were very respectful and  eventually on the day things went very well . Disappointed that Dad was not carried into the service and had to be wheeled in on a trolly . I’ve never seen that before but when asked if that was ok I had to say yes .I don’t think there was enough muscle there maybe due to staff shortages . The Opitus oicture video was a little too long for the music  which left everyone in silence for the last 4 or 5 pictures.  The coffin was perfect as were the flowers and the chapel of rest and the way Dad was laid in there for viewing was excellent he looked peaceful and had been looked after well by the coop .

All our requests were met. We were particularly touched by the care that was taken to treat the deceased as a person, with all staff being made aware of her life story. Kate went the extra mile to sort out a last minute hitch with music we wanted. Thank you for making a hard day as easy as possible.

Kate dealt with implementing all the arrangements we had discussed and she was very pleasant, helpful and as accommodating as she possibly could be within the constraints of my Mum’s prepaid funeral plan.  I was personally very pleased with how everything went especially as Kate arranged for Mum to be carried into the crem (rather than wheeled).  The celebrant tuned in to my Mum’s love of poppies by having a poppy backdrop to the screen at the crematorium and also wearing a poppy scarf - a nice little touch.  The only adverse feedback I’ve since received from the fellow mourners is that the celebrant was not speaking right into the mic and so quite a few people towards the back of the crematorium could not hear the eulogy - which was a shame.  Overall everyone’s joint efforts gave Mum the send off she would have approved of so thank you to all concerned.

Each and every member of their team we dealt with, went above and beyond our expectations to ensure that we said goodbye to my stepdad at truly, the most wonderful funeral service I have attended.

The company was asked to provide a basic cremation service and this is what they did. The staff member was very helpful and had to contact me several times. She did so very efficiently.
