Every wish of not only myself but my family was carried out by Chris and his receptionist at Verwood

Nicholas o'Hara funeral directors handled my dad's funeral very well. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful throughout a difficult time for our family. All staff were lovely, especially Rory who was our primary contact throughout the process. He was very caring and respectful and we could not have asked for anyone better.

The loss of our Dad, Peter, was by no means unique, but to us it was. A time of great family sadness and incomparable individual pain. Throughout this whole process it was important to feel we had friends who were dealing with Dad and guiding us through the whole process of his funeral and cremation and then ultimately the interment of his ashes. We were made to feel completely at ease by all the most excellent staff at Nicholas O'Hara, that there was nothing else that mattered but making sure that our Dad's funeral was everything we wanted it to be.

The standard of professional service we received was of the highest order and perhaps even more important to us at this time, that Dad was in the care of people who cared about him and about the family.

Nicholas O'Hara were very professional from the moment they attended in the early hours of the morning until they returned our family members to the wake. All The O'Hara staff were respectful and attentive as they guided us through the process with care and consideration.
The celebrant, Chris Antell, was a lovely man who did Doug proud. We were very pleased with the way he conducted the service and made it a very special and memorable occasion for all.

Credit must go to O'Hara's for employing Sue and Chris. They have been so helpful over this difficult period. Sue looked after Margaret prior to the funeral, and nothing was too much trouble for her. Chris took the service for Margaret, at the crematorium. Despite never having met Margaret, his description of her life was spot-on. All of the friends and relatives of Margaret were so impressed.


The rest of the members of staff worked to the same high standards. The company has a very high standard of care and consideration for its clients and their families.

Before choosing Nicholas O'hara,I had observed the Company as being a professionally run outfit from their advertising material, quality of their cars, reputation etc. This was subsequently endorsed by our experience of their planning and delivery of the services they provide. The company's recommended Celebrant was the 'icing on the cake' of a very successful event on the day itself. Hopefully we will not need the services of a Funeral Director again for some considerable time but would have no hesitation in using the Company if and when the need arises.
