All the staff were so kind and responded to how I felt when I spoke to them, whether I was tearful or coping and businesslike. The celebrant had a real gift and spoke so well that some of my friends thought he knew my husband personally even though they had never met and he prepared his tribute after speaking to me. They helped me with the structure and content of the service which was beautiful.

I cannot speak highly enough of the thoughtfulness, efficiently and professionalism of Nicholas O'Hara Funeral Directors. From the initial contact, throughout the day and afterwards they have thouggt of everything. Philip was amazing, he picked the perfect celebrant, even organised a special plaque on the coffin for Dad. On the day both he and his team made an awful day run like clockwork. The little details afterwards, like copies of the service for all of us, were so thoughtful. Thank you.

As with the funeral of my mother four years ago O'Hara's took control and made a difficult time more bearable.  I cannot praise them enough and recommend them to anyone who needs to care for a loved one who has passed on.

We couldn’t have asked for better care at this difficult time. From entering the Verwood office to meet Chris, to being brought home after Dad’s service the comfort and support we received was exceptional.  I would also like to give a special mention to Nicky for looking after Mum so lovingly and to the ‘other’ Chris for  his celebration of Dad’s life.  Thank you all from all of us. Chris Antell is a lovely man and such an asset to O'Hara's. He met with us a couple of times before the funeral and the way he read the eulogy totally captured the essence of our loved one. A day none of us expected so soon. We can not thank you enough for what you did for us, from going into see Nicky at Verwood the day after Mum passed, helping us put our minds to rest knowing that we had all the help we would need. The help from Phil to organise, Pauline being so kind when I went into see Mum, even so late in the day, it was not a problem. The fantastic service from Chris Antel on the day. We have had so many lovely comments to say how we have 'done Mum Proud', all we can say is you have 'done us proud', without you this day would not have been so special, for us or for the rest of her family and friends. O'Hara's have been wonderful as the whole of my husbands funeral had to be re-arranged due to the snow which forced my husband' funeral to be cancelled.  I cannot praise them enough for the kindness and compassion show to me and my family.

We have had a really excellent service from Nicholas O'Hara. Everything ran very smoothly on the day and all envolved were really helpful. Anthony went out of his way to ensure all the details were just right and has been very supportive at this difficult time. It is more than just a job for the team, they really care and we never felt rushed. In this day and age it is rare that you come across a business that goes above and beyond your expectations. They are a well run, caring, family team and I would certainly recommend their service to anyone in the area.

On behalf of all the Family we cannot thank Nicholas O'Hara, West Moors enough. From the first point of contact when Anthony came round to discuss Dad's funeral to speak to my Mum, to speaking to anybody at the office the care and compassion they showed to us all was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were all extremely friendly, understanding and sensitive to our needs.

On the day of the funeral itself they were just so professional and marvellous making sure Dad had a wonderful send off. We would also like to thank Ellie our Celebrant who made sure the Service was exactly what we wanted it to be.

Anthony even took the time to call Mum after Dad's Funeral to make she was doing ok, which was a thoughtful gesture. We would highly recommend them.

We had fabulous service from Nicholas O’Hara Funeral Services and Rory in particular.  They were so thoughtful throughout the whole process, never pushy and considering I was arranging this from London via my sister in the USA and my mother in Verwood everything went really smoothly. The cars were superb, silver grey and not black which would have been so dreary on such a difficult day. The drivers were young and so very kind, there was tissues in the car for us as well. They also gave us memory cards and it’s those little touches which made everything easier to bear. Thank you for everything.
