Drake's is a company who believe in manners, dignity and courtesy such as rarely seen in today's world. From the moment of seeing Stuart bow his head when a funeral car passed him by when not on duty, my parents, sister and I knew this was someone we wanted to look after my other sister who'd just died. By his mode of dress, we knew he had to be a funeral director walking to or from a service or appointment. He didn’t know anyone could see him, which is what made us know his reverence and respect was not just for show when people were watching, but was genuine even when he thought no one was there to see. We asked the person we were talking to if they knew him and they told us who he was. Choosing the right funeral director is the last thing anyone can do for their loved one. It's so important to know the one who has died will be looked after properly and with care, but also that wishes of the family grieving will be also.  What a wonderful decision we made on choosing Drake's. Everything was done with ease, such dignity and grace with nothing too much trouble. Every member of staff without exception has to be commended on their manner, courtesy and for making the whole experience of collecting my sister from the hospital, funeral arrangements and funeral itself an easier and better experience than we'd dared hope it could be.  Going to Drake's was the best decision we, as a family, made and would highly recommend Stuart and his team to everyone. We're so grateful to them all and would never consider anyone else now for any future requirements. I just hope they're around for a long time to come. Lorraine Goodrich

Effortlessly professional as well as kind and considerate. Explained the whole process , answered all our questions. made helpful suggestions (and saved us money) and were genuinely concerned that the whole experience would be memorable in good way. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
