Torquay co op funeral care are absolutely fantastic , we arrived at the funeral parlor at 9am , had not booked appointment as was asking advice . Was welcomed in with open arms and a cup of coffee . Wendy sat us down with Wendy’s calming nature and understanding talked us through the process . Comforting us all the way . Nothing was a problem for Wendy . Paula kept on bringing us coffee . And also very professional . At this point we knew Wendy and her team were the perfect people to carry out my mums funeral service . Gary led mums service the day of the funeral and what a fantastic man . Couldn’t have hoped for a better person to walk in front of the hearse . With professionalism at his job . Several times I had to call the torquay co-op funeral parlor . To make changes . Which was never a problem to this team . Brian was always lovely on phone . We used the celebrant Charles Russell . And would also 150 percent recommend . Fantastic guy . Who expresses lovely words . Mum would have been so proud of everyone who went far and beyond at co op to make her send off so special . Words cannot express my gratiude for the excelent service we received during this very sad times.

My beloved late husband Alan Clarke was looked after extremely well and with respect by Gary, Wendy,Charles, Paula and the team at the Co-Op Funeal care teamat Barton Road, Torquay.

Myself and my family were treated with respect, compassion and professionalism at all time.

The team are definately a credit to the company

I can not thank co-op funeral care enough, Wendy was absolutely amazing, she was caring and kind and helped me arrange a service I know my mum would have been happy for. As for Gary on the day of the funeral, he was absolutely amazing and helped me through something I thought I wouldn't survive. This company have bought me comfort in the most devastating and disorientating time in my life and I will be forever grateful.

I arranged a cremation only service for my dad, when I asked if they would tell him we loved and missed him they said they would. They are friendly and courteous and will definitely recommend to other people
