Chris was very understanding and informative during our initial meeting to book a Direct Cremation. It was a special touch being able to add some words onto the coffin plate and have some words said about our loved one before the cremation took place. It was good to have phone calls before and after to ask if I had any questions and also to know what day the cremation would take place.

From the moment we stepped into the teignmouth branch chris who helped us was brilliant. He was very attentive and clear. Calm and respectful . I fully trusted him and the process. I was able to say what I needed and given the best options for us . 
Chris seemed very caring and would have helped in any way he could. I have subsequently called the teignmouth office a few times and chris again has always been very lovely and helpful.

Expected them to liaise more closely with the vicar as they both know what they are doing regarding funerals. Both parties tried to leave it to me.

Also arranged for my Mother's ashes to be placed in the same plot as my Father at the crematorium but then get phoned after the funeral to say that the ashes are at the funeral directors waiting to be collected.

Bit more care and attention would be appreciated. Thank you.

We were treated with the upmost respect from the first phone call. Everything was explained to us as we had chosen a non attended funeral. Mum would still be treated in the same way.
