Kirsty Price at Northcotts Bros of Sidmouth (A J Wakelys) is the epitome of all that one could ask or wish for in a Funeral Director. A perfect blend of compassion, expertise, generous but not overbearing concern, advice and a deep understanding of the myriad effects and impacts bereavement generates within each one of us. Kirsty and all the team at Northcotts are a shining example of the vocational nature of the role of Funeral Director - we were held, supported, encouraged and enabled to create the funeral we wanted, and needed, for our family. We could not have mourned, remembered or celebrated a life that had come to its end as well as we did without Kirsty’s care and guidance.

Northcott Brothers is a funeral director in Sidmouth, established in 1893. In 2013, Peter and Edward Northcott decided to join forces with fourth generation family funeral directors A.J.Wakely & Sons.
The two businesses have a combined history of almost 250 years, and offer a dignified and caring service to Sidmouth and the surrounding communities.

Kirsty and the crew at Northcott Brothers Sidmouth, were absolutely brilliant. gave excellent advice, talked us through everything with the planning, always on the phone "checking all was OK" and also after the funeral. and they conducted an absolutely professional service for my Dad [Roy Pengelly] I could not thank them enough

I can't express how highly we rated the compassionate and warmly professional Kirsty and her team were in helping our family plan and carry out, the funeral of Des. Nothing but nothing, was too much trouble and it .was conducted faultlessly and with great dignity. The family is eternally grateful and we highly recommend them.

I cannot speak highly enough about the help, support and advice given to myself and other family members. Nothing was too much trouble and we were kept abreast of everything relating to Dad via email, phone calls and in person. Kirsty was always extremely kind and showed such empathy and a genuine desire to fulfil our wishes. She held our hands and organised all the aspects after our discussions.
Both Kirsty and Sonia always had time, and the appointments were never rushed. What has also been so lovely has been the concern for myself since the funeral service. Thank you so so much, everything was perfect for a celebration of Dad's long, happy and full life.
