Being the first time I'd ever had to contact a funeral service provider, I did not know what to expect, other providers had been dare I say. 'business like' in their manner on the telephone, however, not so Stephan. His compassionate kindness. gentle and nurturing manner, left me in no doubt whatsoever, that it was Co-Op Funeral Service, I would choose. Not only was he there for taking care of my husband, but, for me too and these were regular calls to check I was o.k. and to keep me up to date with proceedings, as I was unable to attend, my husband being laid to rest in South Devon, as I live in West Scotland and unable to attend. As a company, you are most fortunate to have an employee, like Stephan, who not only cares deeply for his clients, but, for the company he works for. A very Happy Christmas to all at Co-Op Funeral Care, Paignton, Devon.

Matters went very smoothly on the day of the funeral- Jenny Bowden was very professional and organised and deserves praise.

We have used other undertakers in the area recently and the Co-op were far superior in all aspects and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Stephen was so kind and helpful. He listened to my requirements and took note of how things needed to conducted. Together we organised everything along with the celebrant he recommended. He facilitated the live stream of the service and dressed beautifully for the service. He is still available if I need him. It made a difficult time very much easier.

The service and staff were excellent, they made it so easy and comfortable for myself and family members to get in touch and make arrangements. I would recommend them over and over.
