Very professional and accommodating. Everything went smoothly and we have absolutely no complaints. Such sad times are stressful enough without any mistakes being made... and Palmers did an amazing job. Pam and Sadie were very communicative and informative of all choices that we had. Very impressive service, even calling us on a Sunday to finalise details. Highly recommended.

Having never had to do anything like this before, they were all amazing, slowly walking me through step by step everything that happens and needed to be done, I felt they always went over and above and that this was more than just a job for them all. The day of my husband's funeral, I can't fault at all.
Leading up to it is another matter.
The lack of communication was stressful. Speaking to 5 different people meant there was no continuity. Amanda had promised to ring and tell me if she felt it would be okay to see my husband in the Chapel of Rest. I heard nothing!
The fact my husband was taken to Honiton, then Torquay without being told was distressing before he was bought back to Exmouth.
As I say, the day of the funeral I couldn't fault anyone. But it was a 'shambles' before which stressed me out greatly.
I do have a funeral plan myself with the Co-OP, which I intend to move, as I wouldn't want my daughter to have that stress when I pass away ...

The team have been very kind, considerate and helpful. We had to cope with the family's changing choice of opening music which the team dealt with very professionally. We had a odd hiccup when my mother was called the wrong name, but this was a light hearted moment in the respectful, loving send off which she had.

Sorry it has taken so long to do this. My Family and I were very pleased with the Excellent service we received from Palmers, it was a shock that my Husband passed away so suddenly, but the kindness, understanding and care was very much appreciated, they did everything to make the process bearable and effortless. I do not think I could have gone anywhere else and been treated better.
I cannot Thank them all enough for everything.

Very pleased with the guidance we were given regarding our fathers funeral. Pam and Amanda kept us informed every step of the way even when there was staffing issues. Putting Dawn in control at the funeral on the day, who was well informed about everything and made it all run smoothly.

We have recently had the necessity to engage a local funeral director and thankfully the company we chose was Palmers. At an obviously difficult time they could not have been more caring, compassionate and professional in their duties. Nothing was too much trouble and our wishes were carried out to the letter. On the day of the funeral itself Sadie was just fantastic ensuring that the ceremony went without a hitch. She really is a kind, caring person, perfect for the role she has.

I would recommend Palmers without hesitation when that terrible time comes when you need their services.

We had arranged a Funeral Plan in advance and Palmers offered an excellent service throughout. Sadie, the Funeral Director, was both empathetic and professional and everyone attending the funeral agreed that it could not have been better organised.
