Thank you, Coop, Cowick St. Exeter! Obviously I am not in a position to truly compare with the competition, but my experience was that they were faultless in carrying out their duties. They were at all times respectful and eased the process as best they could. They were at all times understanding and explained the process clearly.
One slight negative point which has nothing to do with the Exeter branch, I was very quickly approached by the Coop Probation and Support Services. I found them really quite forceful in their attempt to get my custom so close to the death of my Wife. In fact, their first approach by phone was even as I was initially discussing the funeral arrangements; within minutes of them getting my phone number. There then followed a series of attempted contacts by email, text, phone. It proved quite difficult to shake them off. They even wanted to know the value of our house days after they had been informed of my wife's death; a time when I was still feeling vulnerable and mentally fragile.
I reiterate, this should not detract from the Funeral Directors splendid work.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank, from the bottom of my heart, the team at Cowick Street

Cowick funeral care were wonderful. They were caring but professional making the process of arranging the perfect funeral very straightforward. Particularly impressed by the way in which they quickly understood exactly what was right for us and their attention to detail was superb. Every suggestion they made was spot on. What a lovely team - can not recommend highly enough.

I'm so glad I chose Co-op Funeralcare in Exeter to arrange my late wife Jane's funeral.
From the very first meeting Fleur and Wai were kind, sympathetic and helpful. I never felt that anything was too much trouble and they helped me and the family through the process of planning Jane's funeral so that, on the day, I felt we had given her the sort of service we had all hoped for.
Every time we met Fleur or Wai we felt they had our best interests at heart and even after the funeral they looked after us until the whole process was over.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Co-op Funeralcare to anyone, so much so that I would wish my children to use the company when my time comes!

Fleur and her team are professional, thoughtful and caring. Nothing was much trouble. They went above and beyond to help me organise the best celebration of my mums life.
