I don’t think I have the words to say how much Sadie helped me at the most upsetting time of my life.The care,understanding and compassion she showed me and my family was exceptional and made the day of my husbands funeral take place exactly as he wanted it.

We can highly recommend Palmers funeralcare at Budleigh Salterton. From beginning to end the professional service we have recently received was outstanding. We were treated with kindness, compassion and respect throughout. We were also kept fully informed at all times. Communication was answered swiftly, and our wishes and preferences were carried out perfectly by the competent and caring team. A totally excellent experience.

Sadie and everyone at Palmers handled arrangements with the utmost care, sensitivity and efficiency to enable my wife, Judy's, funeral to take place eleven days after her death. They kept in regular touch with me to check that I was OK and whether there was anything else we needed them to do - even just before the intervening weekend. Everything went like clockwork. I cannot recommend them more highly.

From our first contact with the two fablulous ladies who came to collect Dad from the house to Jesper in the office and Sadie the funeral director we could not find fault with any aspect of the service your team in Budleigh Salterton provided. All so caring, sensitive, helpful compassionate and professional and no hard selling. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention they gave to all of us was first class. The Celebrant you suggested was wonderful too. Mostly our contact was with Jesper and Sadie who both demonstrated excellent communication and people skills. We thank them so much for making such a painful process so much more bearable because of their skills. We would not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone in the area.

My mother was collected within 2hours of her unexpected death( only people to answer the phone)

Sadie Clay was exceptionalthroughout  the process of helping me to organise the funeral for my husband. She took on the whole thing and  was most careful to consult throughout. Sne is a compassionate and kind person who has matching professional skills. She is a gem.

We have used Palmers in Budleigh Salterton previously, so they were always going to be the choice for my father's funeral. The service throughout was professional, friendly, caring and bespoke to meet our needs. We were made to feel that we were the only family they were working for although it was a very busy time for them. Fleur and her team are amazing and we would not hesitate to recommend them.
