Sadly, we used Braddicks & Sherborne twice within five months for both Dad then Mum. Lee and the team where very professional, with an exceptional personal touch and attention to detail second to none. The advice and support throughout the whole process made these difficult times much easier to cope with. Very highly reccomended.

Roy's death was a shock to us all as a family. Arranging his funeral was made easier by Lee's compassion and professionalism. Listening to the family wishes and not rushing us. This extends to his receptionist and to Paul who also showed compassion throughout. Thank you all, your services were more more than excellent.

Excellent service, Mr Sherborne, Mr  Braddick and staff made things very easy for us after losing our Mum. They took care of everything, from the flowers, obituary, service to even driving Mum along Instow sea front so she could see the sea for one last time. We are very grateful to them all and can not praise them enough. Very professional, caring and looked after us all. The highest of recommendations to them.

Aged 77, my husband was in good health, travelling, entertaining, enjoying life but despite not having smoked for 30 years, an aggressive lung cancer appeared from no-where, and within 39 days he passed away in the truly heavenly Hospice at Deer Park, Barnstaple.

Thus, the trauma of arranging his funeral was doubly raw. Tony and I had no children and good relatives lived far away.

I could not have managed without the steadfast assistance of Lee Sherborne at Braddicks & Sherborne. The Committal at the Crematorium was quietly and sympathetically yet unobtrusively managed by Lee. The Celebration of his Life the next day in St. Helen’s again went seamlessly. The choice of music, seating, parking – were all managed superbly. Draft notices forwarded to Lee for the newspapers appeared magically in print.

On both days the Limousines appeared on the dot with helpful and kindly chauffeurs – Paul and Andy. Tracey in the office assisted ably at every step, and the emailed Service Sheets were compiled immaculately.

It seems rather melancholy to ‘recommend’ a Funeral Director, but faced with the inevitability of needing one, I wholeheartedly commend Lee Sherborne at Braddicks & Sherborne, Abbotsham Road, EX39 3AF
