This is the second time we’ve used R P Byrom, each time they have been so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, they keep you informed every step of the way and have a lot of sympathy and compassion. Definitely would use again.

I have used Byron's before for my Fathers Funeral and now returned for the funeral of my Wife. Byron's service is exeptionally good. The are quietly and unobtrusively efficient as well as beiing very careing and helpfull. As a retired vicar I have seen a fair number of Funeral Directors in action, that you could describe as "The good , the bad, and the ugly," and they certainly stand out as the leaders of the good category. I would unreservedly reckomend them.

Truly amazing, Chris organised everything I wanted for my fathers final journey and even called to check we were ok before the day. Can’t thank them enough for all they did. Very professional and compassionate from start to end.

Excellent from the start. We were recommended to RP Byrom & Son by a family friend who spoke very highly of them, and we were not disappointed. After losing our Dad relatively young, none of us had ever found ourselves in this situation where we had to plan a funeral.

Chris at RP Byrom & Son was amazing from start to finish. He really took the weight off of our shoulders and made the day run as perfectly as possible to give our Dad the best send off. We had so many compliments after the service about how well run the service was and how appropriate it all was for our Dad and we could not be more grateful for Chris’ support and expertise. He was very understanding, calm and organized which meant we could fully trust him to make the day special, and he really did.

R P Byrom & Son Funeral Directors come highly recommended by us, Chris and his team were so very helpful, respectful and polite, guiding us through everything we needed to do. They took on all the organising for the crematorium and the church service at Heanton Church afterwards, such a great help in a time when you really need it. They were even able to provide and run their music system with the music we chose at both locations. We could not have asked for a better service from them, its a big thank you from us.

This was the saddest time of my life. I lost my husband, Den on New Years Day. My son, Paul had all the contact with you going through procedures for the funeral service.  Byrom & Son were very professional. On the day of the funeral, the hearse was brought to my house and everything from done with great dignity and you showed the upmost respect for all the family. I would highly recommend you to anyone in this unfortunate situation.
