As soon as we met with Helen, we knew that Cherish were the right people to take care of mum. Their support and communication all the way through was faultless. On the day of mum's funeral, Matt was incredibly supportive and it meant so much having him there, checking on us throughout. I would highly recommend Cherish to take care of your loved ones and you during a difficult time. They made things feel a little easier.

The service and support provided far exceeded our expectations. We really appreciated all the 'small details' that were taken care of for us at such a difficult time. Helen was so helpful, patient and she has such talent at producing the order of service. The whole team was great.

Could not ask for better care and service from all the staff at Cherish, especially Helen who was absolutely lovely.
I felt like they completely took all the stress and worry away from the moment I first spoke to them. I really appreciated the extra care and details Helen made with things like the Order Of Service. I also want to give a special thanks to Tim, who stepped in at the last minute to do the service.
I wholeheartedly recommend Cherish Funeral Directors to anyone considering them.

I had never had to arrange a funeral before now so was really unsure as to what to do.
Cherish were brilliant, made a very hard emotional time easier, they listened to what I wanted and put everything into place, they showed empathy and compassion And had follow up calls to ensure that not only was I okay, but to see if there was anything else they could do to help.Needless to say that the funeral was exactly how I requested, a perfect send off.

Cherish in Swadlincote recently handled my late husband's funeral.
From my initial contact with Helen the whole process was handled with sympathy, kindness and the utmost care.
Lisa who composed the eulogy and was the celebrant at the cremation delivered a wonderful tribute to my husband.

'Cherished' is an excellent word to describe this Funeral Directors, as everyone who I met from this company were so compassionate and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them, especially Helen, who helped me through this very difficult time.
On the day of the funeral everything went well, I couldn't have asked for anything more. There was standing room only in the crematorium, and every single mourner commented on the lovely 'order of service', which was outstanding, together with the lovely touch of the 'forget me nots'.
Thank you for being so kind and thoughtful.

From the moment I phoned them to tell them I'd lost my husband, right up to delivering us safely from the Crematorium to the venue of the wake, they were wonderful. Compassionate, caring in all aspects of making the details of the funeral.
I can't imagine that they could have done anymore.
As a family we are truly grateful to Helen, Matthew and all the staff at Cherish.

We had used Cherish, when my mother in law died and so when my father passed away, it was a straight forward decision to use them again. The staff are caring and friendly and make you feel that they are personally involved with you. Everything that they do is professional and of a very high standard.
