I have to say a very big thank you from all the family, to everyone at Cherish Swadlincote, in how you all handled my late Wife, and Mother Libi's Celebration of Life, May 2nd, 2024. It was done in a marvellous, professional and compassionate manner.

Right from the very start when we went in to organise things, Helen was so helpful in getting everything organised. Right down to getting multiple emails or WhatsApp's from me. Which always was no problem to her. Also organising Karen Gratton as the Celebrant.

One doesn’t know what to expect on the day, but as soon as the cars arrived, I knew then how it would go. A special mention goes to Matt, such professionalism I have never witnessed before. Unfortunately I didn’t get the names of the drivers, but they too deserve a lot of credit. All those attending, also commented on the compassion shown by all the Cherish staff.

Cherish were there for us every step of the way for my late mums final journey. Everything from start to finish was treated with respect and dignity. Many people made very positive comments afterwards and were asking who we used. We were also told aft by Cherish that they are there for us afterwards too should we need them. Thankyou Cherish my mum would have been happy with how it all went.

All the team at cherish did a fabulous job. They tailor made the funeral and made us feel cherished.

Helen is so caring and did a fantastic job with the printed order of service and all the organising. Beautiful flowers.

Tim came in on his day off to walk mum out as he had done so at my dad’s funeral.

Karen, the celebrant did a great service and we said goodbye with laughter as well as tears, which is just what mum would have wanted.

The bearers and drivers did a great job too.

All very respectful and professional as well as with great compassion.

The team at Cherish did a wonderful job, amazingly supportive thinking of all the finer details and helping the family to deal with these at our most difficult time.

The team made sure everything went as smoothly as possible on the day of the funeral, leaving the family to focus on our loved one who’d passed.

Special mention for Helen who was amazing from start to finish, we would have struggled without her expert advice and support.

I would definitely recommend Cherish Funerals. I had to start arranging my son’s funeral from Australia before, we travelled to Swadlincote. I chose Cherish Funeral Directors because the website was clear and displayed all costings in a spread sheet. I was so happy I chose your funeral company for my son Shaun’s funeral. The customer service was excellent and everything exceeded my expectations, everything ran smoothly which was good because this was my first experience organising a funeral. We were exacting in our requirements; we received excellent guidance and had precisely the service (in every sense of the word) that we wished for our dear Father. Professional in every way; from the initial meeting on their premises with Helen right up to the final contact when Matt as he handed over Orders of Service and list of attendees.
