This funeral home was part of the Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Service, which opened in May 1994, and was then incorporated into the A.W. Lymn group in October 2003.
The funeral home is run by funeral arranger Michelle Ibbett and overseen by funeral director Mick Schofield. The office is open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance after hours, you can always call the telephone number at any time, seven days a week, and arrange an appointment at your convenience.
The premises offers one client parking space, a reception area, family rooms, visiting rooms and cold room facilities.
The branch gives a discount to Co-op members and also offers Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Vouchers and Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Plans.
The Ilkeston office covers all of Ilkeston and its surrounding area including Awsworth, Cossall, Eastwood, Heanor, Kimberley, Kirk Hallam, Langley Mill, Loscoe, Shipley, Smalley, Stanley, Trowell, West Hallam and beyond.
Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose are the directors of the A W Lymn group.

A. W. Lymn’s at Ilkeston were amazing from start to finish. I had no idea what I was doing, and I was looked after step by step and everything was explained really clearly. I made initial plans which needed to be changed a few days before the funeral, Michelle was amazing in doing so. Nothing was too much of a problem. Michelle u was am absolute star from start to finish always there when needed you. I wouldnt have gone anywhere else u made it all go the way we wanted. All the small details you did ment everything to me and wayne. I wouldnt have picked anyone else to look after mum, you are fantastic at your job and dont ever let anyone tell you different.
