We were helped though a very tuff time in our lives. The sevice was professional but friendly and supportive. We were keept informed all the way through, nothing was a problem or to difficult to sort out. I would happily recomend AW Lymn to anyone going through this difficult time.

Mark Chapman was amazing, he was supportive, compassionate, caring, respectful and very professional but friendly and approachable. I could not have asked for more, he made an extremely difficult time bearable. I could not fault the service I received from A.W.Lymn from my initial meeting with Derek to all the following meetings with Mark. They all went that extra mile to ensure all my wishes for my son were met. A truly amazing service received from this team and A.W.Lymns should be so proud of this team for all the dedication they showed to provide an excellent iservice to meet the individuals needs. Thankyou Mark and your team for everything you did for my sons final journey xx
Located at Wentworth House, A.W. Lymn's Osmaston Park branch opened in March 2010. Funeral Arranger Kaitlan Thompson is in charge of the office and is overseen by Kevin Hall, the Derby Senior Funeral Director. Mark Chapman, an A.W. Lymn Funeral Celebrant is also based here.
The premises offer one small car park, a reception area, visitation room, family room, and cold room facilities. There is also the possibility to accommodate ritual washing if requested.
Kaitlan is available to see clients from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, or at any other time by appointment – A.W. Lymn's telephone number operates 24 hours a day.
The branch covers all of Osmaston Park and its surrounding area, including Alvaston, Chaddesden, Findern, Normanton, Sinfin and beyond.
Nigel Lymn Rose, former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors’ manages A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew.

I highly recommend this funeral director/company. In particular the branch at Wentworth House, Derby. Customer Service is of a very high standard with this being a family concern their approach toward the customer is both friendly and professional. The guidance and recommendations given are of great value. It really was appreciated by myself that I left the care of my father in their hands and one that I was totally pleased that I entrusted A W Lymn carried out. In conclusion, I highly recommend the branch at Wentworth House, particularly Mark who's dedication attendance to all details are immaculate and with total dignity. Five star's well deserved.

The service provided by A W Lymn and the courteous staff was impeccable throughout.
Mr Mark Chapman's attention to detail, with such care and thoughtfulness, made sure nothing was overlooked at a very sad time for the family - and this has even continued post-funeral day. The help and assistance given to the bereaved at a very traumatic time is to be congratulated.

Fantastic service by Mark , made us feel very at ease and treated us like family. At this sad time it was lovely to know my mum was being well looked after and if we needed anything Mark was at the end of the phone. Instead of getting a funeral director Mark made it feel like a friend was running the show.
