Newbold Co-op are the most respectful, caring and compassionate team. Everyone involved with my family were kind and sensitive, nothing was too much trouble. Tracey, Deanna and Kerry are just a few of them that made my Dads funeral bearable, Kerry helped my mum in and out the cars giving her reassuring words. We really did feel like this team were mourning with us with their endless kindness, Deanna even stood outside when we drove past taking my dad on his last journey. We can’t thank them enough, what a wonderful team they are.

from the beginning of our journey we were met with care and warmth, Tracy was just such a lovely lady - easy to communicate with and very helpful - she guided us through everything and always checked we were ok and happy - the funeral day was everything we could of hoped for - such professionalism from the funeral directors - explaining everything along the way.
For such a sad event it was a lovely send off for my mum and one i will never forget - Tracy chose a lovely lady called Jan as our celebrant and we were so pleased she did - again what a lovely kind and caring lady - she did everything we asked of her and more.
Thank you to all involved in my mum's funeral day - i would not hesitate to recommend this company - made a very difficult day into a wonderful lasting memory of the most beautiful mum i could have ever wished for

From our very first visit to the Coop funeral service in chesterfield we were welcomed with empathy, total respect for our loss and gentle acceptance of humour which was so important to break the ice. Throughout our contact with the Coop staff they were incredibly helpful and supportive nothing was any trouble. They kept us up to date with the progress of the procedures. They even took the time away from formalities and paperwork to ask who our mum was, what she was like and how she like her hair to be set. They even added a special touch just before the service.  They went above and beyond our expectations at such an incredibly difficult time. A massive thank you to all the staff and I would highly recommend their service.
