Well what can I say....
From the very first call to the last, Jeanette and Sheena have been absolutely amazing. So thoughtful, respectful, kind and empathetic towards myself and my family. Even the chauffeur Tim was so lovely on the funeral day. This team are a credit to co-op funeral care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The two ladies, Janette & Sheena, could not have been more professional or kind. They guided us through every stage, rang daily to see how I was. I felt as though I could contact them at any time, with any issues. I would recommend them to anyone who was going through a bereavement.

I was fortunate that my mam had me take her when she arranged her funeral plan so was present at it, thus I had a good idea how the service would proceed. At what can be a very stressful occasion, we were all so very pleased how well the service and after care were conducted. The celebrant Will was brilliant, a slight issue occurred during the service, involving some people within the building being disrespectful, we were given an apology by Will who stepped out to deal with it quickly returning and continued very professionally. The director Jeanette again was excellent, very helpful advice was given to us, and we were kept fully informed of events as they occurred. Thank you for making what could have been quite stressful so easy to deal with.

We were very impressed with the services that were provided. From our initial contact with the Co-op over the phone, our meeting with Sheena (who was excellent throughout), the funeral and also the collection of the ashes. We also very much appreciated the courtesy calls throughout the process. When I visited the ‘chapel’ to view my mother I was very pleased with the professional approach and care that had been given to my mother’s appearance. All our requests had been fully met.
I would recommend your organisation’s services without reservation.

The whole process was seemless. The staff were genuine and knew their craft - no uninterested individuals reading from a script in this company. I was made to feel valued as a client and was treated with respect and empathy - without being disingenuous or patronising.  I felt they had my best interests as a priority and that made a very difficult time easier to navigate. My mother recently passed away in a care home , I got in touch with the Funeral care team at Workington. When we went to discuss the arrangements they could not have been more helpful ; mother had in the past stated what she would like to happen so we were guided by that but everyone had positive input and any queries I had were answered straight away.
The celebrant Fiona came to my home and along with my brother was given all the info that she needed; we also decided to have a visual tribute along with some music , which was a lovely idea
Although it was a funeral, it was also a celebration of mothers life and it was handled with care and dignity and everyone had something positive to say about it. I absolutely have no hesitation in recommending Coop Funeralcare to anyone
