All the staff at Etterby street funeral care were extremly helpfull and caring, and totally understood of the constrainsts that were faced during this sad time.
Communication was 1st Class with every step of the journey to lay my father to rest.
I would like to thank all the staff involved especialy Diane and Benet for their help and advice from begining to end.

My mother had a pre paid funeral plan, but due to poor communication unfortunately she was left at the hospital mortuary for 6 days as information from the call centre was not passed to our local Co-op funeral director to arrange for her collection. Staff seem to want to sell you more extras then keep ringing you asking for them to be paid for, considering they had had over £3000.00 of my Mothers money for nearly 3 years I find it incredulous to be ringing for £58.00 which I understand was not on my Mothers plan. A little more empathy and compassion needs to be given to the deceased family. We visited the office to pay for the extras however we were in the main front office approximately 10 minutes before anyone attended to us, there was paperwork left on the unattended desk with peoples confidential information including cheques. The funeral day itself went without any problems.

The Etterby St part of the firm were excellent but when I tried to contact them on a Saturday I was transferred to a call centre I believ in Manchester I was upset and did not receive any sympathy from the lady who answered .If it hadn't been the fact that I had been brought up at W H Reeves (my grandfather) I would have probably changed my mind about using your services.

From the first point of contact, all of the staff at Etterby Street were outstanding. The consideration, kindness and sensitivity they have shown us , together with the lovely way they took care of Mum, was of great comfort to us. We were given the most attentive, professional guidance and help throughout the process. To be so highly professional and prompt in all aspects of organisation and contact, and still retain a very personal and genuinely caring service, is a real skill, and we are very grateful to Diane and her team for everything.

My Mum had a funeral plan in place and from the start everything was straight forward and taken care of. ALL the staff were delightful, caring and professional. Diane consulted with me on the details and kept me informed all along the way. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything went smoothly on the day despite the inclement weather. After a couple of days, Elaine rang me to check that I was OK and to inform me of their bereavement services should I need them. I cannot fault the Funeralcare Service in any way.
