A heartfelt thank you to everybody who looked after Arthur , there care towards him was extremely kind and I felt they went above and beyond to do what was necessary in his parting time with them , they were extremely kind towards myself,my daughter Michelle and the rest of the family on the day of Arthur’s funeral there dedication was second to none. Thank you for all your kind words they were both comforting and reassuring, we laughed and cried together.   May you have continued success with your business.

I cannot praise Jan and the Team at Co-op Funeral Care Carlisle highly enough.
At a very difficult time for our family they took every worry and care possible off our shoulders. They organised everything with great care and professionalism but most of all with humanity. On the day of the cremation, they were dignified and attentive, looking after both mum and ourselves, just as though we were their family.
Mum bought a funeral package years ago and this allowed these very special, kind people to look after us all. If you decide to do the same, this will allow your family time to focus on celebrating your dearly departed's life, and not stress about the details of organising their final days.

Only reason for 4 not 5 star is because I was given advice that I could pay for funeral services using the deceased account but I have since learnt from solicitor and bank that this is illegal and all funeral costs need to go from bank account direct - ie bank do they transferring. Any power of attorney finishes with death

My mum's funeral was carried out with such kindness and respect we could not have asked for better. It was a perfect send off for mum. Making the arrangements was made very straightforward from the outset and all the options dicusssed and they were always just at the end of the phone if we had any question. Everything went to plan. Staff were patient, sympathetic to our needs, and we were kept informed as to all the planning for the day. In particular, Jan was very helpful throughout. Excellent service.
