Every aspect of dealing with the funeral home staff was first class. As for your out of hours call team,well that's totally different. The question "where is lady dead was asked on the evening of passing. Not at all professional.

Lack of efficacy in regards to communication, very difficult to get through to the office on the phone, doesn’t appear to be enough staff, everyone very busy , lack of rooms for the initial meeting so we were sat in reception area, funeral director didn’t write the newspaper notice, it was left to us to write it, we were told to look online for inspiration, we felt as though this should have been done for us, with questions and advice given by the funeral director

From making the first phone call to the co op in Stockton,we were treated with sincere sympathy & dignity, then we got a call from Ross, the funeral director, what a lovely person, totally professional & a absolute asset to your company, totally respectful of our requirements & compassionate,Ross kept us fully informed of the process & gave us support at this very difficult time,also the celebrant who Ross sent to us, James was also very professional & did a lovely reading about my dad on the day.
Ross certainly made the day run smoothly & efficiently,he knows the job inside out & we cannot thank him enough..

Deserve more than 5stars as the service was exceptional from start to finish. The girls in the office sending things through and doing the order of service .. thank you.
Abbie who was our funeral director was amazing. She kept in contact with us all but especially my Dad. She did the funeral for us when she was supposed to be on holiday.. I honestly can't thank her enough. She as well as everyone else made that day go smoothly and we couldn't of asked for anything better at a time when we were grieving.

From the start to the finish, the funeral arrangements have been handled sensitively and very professionally by Fiona Simpson at the StocktonOn Tees branch. She was absolutely superb in carrying out what must always be difficult conversations for customers who have just been bereaved. We can’t speak too highly of her care and professionalism, guiding us through every aspect of the funeral arrangements. Fiona even attended the funeral itself, which was unexpected but we are very grateful to her for doing so. She chose the perfect celebrant for us, and the whole funeral went absolutely according to our wishes. In short, Fiona made the organisation and the service itself very easy and worry free for us at what of course is a very difficult time for the whole family. Thankyou to Fiona and the excellent team at the Stockton branch of the Co op funeral service …

The hardest day of my life ….along with…
The hardest day of my life ….along with my two brothers we planned our dads funeral with Fiona at the Stockton-on-tees branch, who was knowledgeable and compassionate during our consultation guiding us with all options available, Fiona even opened the branch to see us on Bank holiday …we then met the lovely Sarah who was our selected celebrant for the service, she asked us the right questions to help us as a family to remember our fondest memories …went through the order of service…sent us proofs to make sure we were happy before they were printed….Sarah also kept in contact to ensure we were all ok and if there was anything else we would like to add to the service ….During the service Sarah spoke of my dad as if she knew him herself her voice,wording, smiles, full of expression and compassion …..we have had family and friends contacting us to say how wonderful Sarah was …there was no rush after the service lots of time to chat with family and friends …..we were told we’re we could collect the flowers from ….our journey home with Ross was second to none ….My son sat upfront with him and they chatted and giggled between themselves …reasons to make us smile during our journey home ….to add to the memories of the day …..and finally a mention to jasmine our driver who explained reasons why ambulances turned sirens off …..I can not fault any part of the planning communication the day it’s self …..during what has been our hardest day of all our lives …loosing our dad, grandad, great grandad and husband …..words cannot thankyou enough ❤️
