I was very pleased with the excellent care and attention we received from Ross and Fiona in preparation for the funeral.  My Auntie’s funeral was carefully carried out with dignity and sympathy.  Thank you so much for your help and advice at this difficult time.

They were amazing. They gave us everything thing that we asked for, they were respectful and very helpful.

After caring for Dad at home for the previous 10days whilst on his final journey, and even though expected the shock was numbing. So, to have such a team of dedicated professionals was beyond amazing. From initial phone to the OOH call centre of Co op Funeral Services whose questioning of myself was gentle but authoritative. To the arrival at night of two lovely young ladies who took care of the family as well as they did of Dad. Treating him with the utmost respect, gentleness and consideration. Talking to him as if they had called in for a visit. When I asked are others coming to help you, they smiled and said no, they were stronger than they looked and they'd a lot of practice. They made sure at all times we were informed as to what would now happen but were extremely keen to protect us from any further distress, asking that we stayed in the dining room whilst they took Dad to their vehicle. Please thank them from the family. Our next visit was from Andrea our Funeral Director, the most amazing efficient and caring individual I've had the pleasure to meet. She guided, cajoled, asked important questions we had never even considered. Spending possibly two hours with us, answering questions, making suggestions, never once did she push, look at her watch, or make us feel rushed. Even discussing costs seemed normal without any hard sell in sight. Andrea introduced us to Sarah our celebrant, a better choice could not have been selected. Sarah "in a Nutshell " could have been in the family for years after chatting to us, laughing with us, advising and making copious notes throughout. Her Celebration of Dad's life will forever be in my heart. She nailed it. The staff at Stockton Coop Funeral Services were outstanding, nothing to much trouble no request or requirement a hardship. They too laughed with us at Dads quirks, never thought any addition, change or and alteration was wrong or not in keeping. You tell us what you need, we will do our best to comply. Andrea kept me appraised of everything that would happen on the day, how it all came together, but came into her own on the day of the funeral, the ultimate professional immaculate in her morning suit and top hat. She took complete control but still took time out to hold my hand, ask if I was OK, tell me. "You can do this" but stopped short of prodding me with her staff as I'd asked her to if I started crying. She brought me a cup of water instead. I will be forever in her debt, along with EVERY staff member of Coop Funeral Services Stockton. They did my Father proud.

I would like to thank all at Co-op Funeral Stockton-on-Tees for all aspects in organising our Mother's funeral. In particular Steven and Fiona who kept us informed during everything. Everything we requested for Mum was done for the family, the flowers were beautiful, the memory cards were perfect and the choice of celebrant (Claire) was excellent. The service for Mum was exactly as she would have wanted and that was so important to us all. So thank you to all who helped during this time.

From start to finish, I found the staff at Norton Road to be both caring and professional, particularly Fiona, James, Stephen and Ross. My mother’s funeral was well organised and she was looked after with care and attention. My assigned celebrant, Paul Russell was above and beyond our expectations and we couldn’t have wished for a better send off for my mother. I would certainly recommend this branch of Co-op Funeral Care at Norton Road, they will help you through what is a painful and unbearable time. Thank you!
