I felt that the whole process was handled sympathetically and my wishes were taken into account without any pressure to commit to additions that would be out of keeping for my late husband. The choice of celebrant was perfect. She put together a celebration of life service that everyone commented on as interesting and fitting as a way of honouring a life well lived. Thank you to all the staff that attended to me at the office and on the day of the funeral. I couldn’t have wished for better care.

I could not recommend Stockton Co-op Funeral care highly enough.  They made a difficult time run so smoothly and efficiently with great care and empathy shown to us all. I could not have asked for a better funeral place or for better staff either. It was like nothing was too much work, they were always so polite. It was always easy to get through on the phone so I felt supported at all times. I dealt with a lady called Fiona 99% of the time and she was just exceptional, I don't know how she kept her sanity after all of my phone calls. It made the whole process so easy. It was so easy in fact that I kept worrying I had forgotten something because it seemed to take no time at all to organise. Mum's officiant/celebrant James who delivered my mums funeral was absolutely amazing and did her so proud. He came to my home to talk about mum and you'd expect that you'd sit and have a little cry going over the past and the loved one I had just lost but I didnt feel emotional once. He made the entire visit so relaxed and dare I say, fun! My mums funeral went ahead without a single hitch, it could not have been more perfect. David, our funeral director was absolutely lovely as well, so friendly and professional both when he came to organise the funeral and on the day. I couldn't have asked for better staff from start to finish at the funeral. I couldn't have asked for better staff for the entire process from start to finish either. I am very thankful I picked this funeral place because they took an incredibly sad and horrible time in my life and made it more easier to handle.

Would highly recommend CO OP funeral directors, they were so helpful did everything we requested for mum, nothing was too much trouble we did not have to worry about anything, Fiona in Stockton branch made sure everything was taken care of, she was kind, compassionate & double checked everything went to plan, cannot thank her enough, even after the funeral she checked in on us, definitely highly recommend.
