From start to finish our Dad was taken care of, as if he was their own. Nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to make sure we were all well and if we needed any help, or just a chat, we could call in. 
There’s a reason why they’re named The Co-op FuneralCARE.

The only negative comment we have as a family was on the meeting to discuss the funeral we were kept In reception, mam was clearly distressed and people coming in for their own viewings could see this, we feel that more privacy is required.

Stanley Co op funeral services gave me so much help, and support in such a caring way. The funeral was excellently arranged and executed. I highly recommend this service to anyone.

Good service from the local branch. Just one issue- calls always being diverted to Manchester central team - which makes it really difficult for family to make arrangements to see family member in chapel of rest .

Tracy and the team were very caring and supportive.

My mother's plan had been taken out some years ago. We met with the funeral director who explained the subsequent changes required due to the age of the plan. At no point did we feel there was anything but care and consideration given to the suggestions for the changes. All of which were most acceptable. On the day of the funeral the arrangements were smoothly executed with due reverance and respect at all times. Our only reservation is with the period of time it took before my mother was laid in the Chapel of Rest, which was longer than indicated.

The co op I could not have asked for anymore care and help and nothing was a problem or trouble to them especially Joanne Blair and Paul, the only let down was Ian the humanist who I had to chase for details of what was going to be said about Keith, it was 6.40 the
Night before the funeral I was told of the contents as when he came out wed week before funeral he said was away for a couple of days and would be in touch the following mon or tues, when he did ring me and read it had wrong names, I asked for an email or what was said and he said couldn’t have till after the funeral why don’t know and as to date still do t have it and it is 2 weeks today since the funeral, but once again the co op staff were brilliant and made it a

Everything good except the system where calls are diverted to a Manchester call centre when the Stanley office lines are busy - this happened more than once. Would be more customer centric having a mobile # for the funeral director where they either answer the call or it goes directly to their voicemail.
