This is the second time I have had to call on the services of Strathmore House in the last 12 months, and again the team excelled in my expectations. Gavin was our appointed director on this occasion and I can praise him enough on the professional care he gave me and my family during this difficult time. I would also like to thank Jaci who also kept me informed during the whole process. Going forward I will always recommend the Strathmore team if I’m approached by anyone needing a sincere and truly understanding and professional funeral service.

My Mother & Father had talked regarding a Pure Cremation. This was all arranged with the minimum of fuss. There was no pressure to go beyond their simple wishes. The crematorium used was at Kirkleatham, where I collected the ashes myself. The staff at Kirkleatham assured me that all due reverence was given to my Father - just as if there was a full funeral service.
My mother and I are happy that we chose this kind of cremation.
Thanks go to all staff in making his final journey as peaceful as possible.

Very professional service, helping us to give Mam a beautiful day. We were shown care and compassion by all staff throughout. Nothing  was a problem and we were made welcome every day when we visited mam. Would certainly recommend.

From receiving Mam into their care, nothing was a problem and we were kept updated with funeral plans. I visited Mam most days in the funeral home and all staff were always very caring & friendly. Mam's funeral was just beautiful from start to finish, everything went perfectly. Thank you xx

Thank you Elizabeth and your team. For what you have done for my wife Lynn Marie Treveil. You treated my wife kindness and respect. And have supported me and my family in their darkness hour. My wife looked beautiful in life. Lynn looked beautiful in deaf can you thank the team who helped Lynn look her best and at peace. My son Nathan said he would walk one more time with his mam . He was joined by his uncle's Christopher Mark and David. And supported by three staff members . Who were kind and supportive. Me and my daughter Natalie followed Lynn in to the church and crematorium holding my hand. It was heart breaking to watch but I am very proud of my family.
