The funeral was undertaken by Co-op Funeralcare, Durham under the supervision of Funeral Director, Mr Fred Robinson. The standards provided and the way the funeral arrangements were taken care of, prior to the actual funeral as well as the actual funeral itself were without fault. Staff and cars were pristine, respect and manners from all of the staff could not have been higher. The event went without any hitches thanks to Mr Robinson's directorship and personal skills.
His recommendation of Celebrant Hilary Bolton, was excellent. She was perfect in every way and not only spent time with us at home agreeing the format but was such a lovely person to deal with, and once again her skills came to the fore with an excellent presentation.

I received an excellent service during a time of great loss and sadness. Fred our funeral director was fantastic; professional, compassionate and friendly. every option was discussed and i didn't feel pressured to purchase extra services. i felt comforted knowing my late dad was in the best care during this time.

At a time of real difficulty and emotional chaos these guys and girls took away a massive amount of stress. Everything we asked for, some away from the norm, was carried out professionally and caringly. Unforseen personality changes caused a bit of confusion on the day, but all in all, it didn't detract from the ceremony. Also thanks to the funeral care home manager. A big thank you to all concerned.

The staff at Framwellgate Moor were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and the funeral went very smoothly indeed. Full marks for Coop Funeral Care. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because I was contacted by Coop Bereavement Services and was given a ludicrous price for dealing with probate and estate management in excess of £4000. I did it all myself and it cost me nothing but a few quid for postage. Also they quoted six to nine months to do this and I achieved it all within a couple of weeks. I feel completely cheated by Coop Bereavement Services, especially at such a difficult time.

Everything was perfect. However it is difficult to get in touch with call centre and when you do information is very difficult to be understood by call centre staff and forwarded to local Funeral Home.
