All personnel I dealt with - Lisa at the Grove office, Dan the celebrant and Blair the Funeral Director - were professional, kind, patient and efficient. I don't think I was really prepared for how much work goes into organising a funeral. I felt supported every step of the way by this team. I can highly recommend The Grove Funeralcare.

The members of staff at The Cooperative Funeral Directors at The Grove in Consett could not have been kinder. They listened to every question and request and fulfilled every requirement to make my John's funeral what I wanted for him. They were patient and respectful and were consummate professionals. I would recommend them to everyone. I'm so glad I went to them. They helped me in every way possible and made me feel I was their priority.

An absolute fantastic service from everyone in the Co-op who dealt with my dad's funeral. Always kept in touch with constant updates and were extremely helpful everytime I needed help or advice. Top quality service, special thanks to Lisa Platt from The Grove Funeral home, she went above and beyond help when we were let down by Consett Medical Centre, when death certificate took too long for them to complete which resulted in a rescheduled funeral date and a new notice put in the paper. Lisa is a credit to your workforce and we were very grateful for everything she done. Thankyou to everyone at Co-op, were were great.

The Grove have handled both my Mam and Dads funerals which were 9 months apart. They were brilliant for both very empathetic at such a difficult time . They were there to support us and followed our wishes perfectly .

The service the Grove Funeral care provided our family with at the most upsetting time in our lifes was absolutely amazing, the support we received was very professionally done from the minute the arrangements for our beautiful mams Funeral started. The time our mam was in their care was 1st class. A massive thank you to Lisa and Kirsty at The Grove Chapel of rest they were a brilliant help and we don't know what we would of done without their support what a fantastic service they do, very caring and very helpful..Blair and his team were outstanding on the day of mams funeral. Very thoughtful and caring staff. Very professional. We were guided from getting into cars to go to church, till being brought back . Sarah was amazing. Lisa and Kirsty led me through the process with sympathy and professionalism. They were helpful and treated my Aunty Eileen with respect and dignity. Also on the day of the funeral the guys were equally helpful and kind and explained the whole process.
