Joanne, Claire and lisa were very professional and understanding from the first meeting onwards. Nothing was a problem they kept me informed at every stage. Blair and his colleagues were equally as good on the day of the funeral, we all felt secure in their hands. The service we received from everyone was seemless and while a very sad day, the team made the whole process much less stressful for all.

From the first contact I had with the funeral home nothing was too much trouble and I was completely comfortable to ask for all the families wishes to carried out.
The funeral itself was handled with the upmost care and dignity from beginning to end and although deeply upsetting it was a beautiful send off.

The Co-op funeral service at Consett have been absolutely fantastic in helping and supporting me through planning my dads funeral. The ladies in the office who I spoke with , Joanne and Clare were very understanding and empathetic  from start to finish. Organised everything via phone and email as live overseas.  Straight forward  excellent, competent staff all my requirements met for my mother.   Florist this branch use is outstanding. Gary who was in charge on the day of my Mother’s funeral was wonderful.  Claire, Donna and other staff brilliant,  friendly, sensitive to my re quests and very professional and polite.   As funerals go my Mothers was perfect along with a beautiful service.
