From our first contact with the staff at Chester le Street my son and I were made to feel that whatever we wanted for my wife it would be carried out in a professional but also a caring manner. This was unfortunately my second experience in 11 months having lost both my parents in that time. I feel so lucky they had not only taken out prepaid plans with the Co-op but also that I managed to get Phil for both funerals. My Dad wanted Phil as he thought the way he looked after us for my Mam's funeral was fantastic. The personal care taken from that first difficult call after Dad passed away, the empathy of the on call people who collected Dad, and just the whole process has been second to none. You genuinely feel like they care and want everything to be perfect for you and your family. Phil has meticulous attention to detail and will ensure you are looked after through the whole process and especially on the day of the funeral. I highly recommend using them in your most difficult time.
