The coop birtley supported my fathers funeral almost 5 years ago and this last week my mothers funeral.  Emily and Katherine were wonderful. On both occasions the coop staff were friendly supportive and professional. Everything was handled and ran very smoothly on the day. In addition they linked me up with Gareth  our local vicar who was equally wonderful. From my experience I am happy to recommend the coop funeral Care.

Alans funeral went according to plan despite the many setbacks of 3 staff contracting Covid , problems obtaining a hearse from Sherburn believe it or not , and a slow puncture to boot..
All in all Phil coped with it all and paid an honouable tribute to Alan when the hearse passed Alans house . Phil had the assistance of a very able stand-in driver and Alan would have indeed have been proud of the occasion .
The 'service' was conducted excellently by Hilary and was appreciated by all attendees

Thank you all so much for making the day one which will remain in many peoples memories .

The staff at funeralcare were extremely helpful at a difficult time. The funeral was scheduled during the height of covid and over the Xmas period and at a time when they had a lot of staff off with Covid . However they still managed to arrange the funeral to our requirements. 
The funeral itself ran like clockwork with everything working without a hitch and with great support for my grieving and infirm mother
I would have no hesitation in recommending funeralcare to friends and family

At a time of immense grief and sudden loss of my husband I cannot thank all the staff I dealt with at Birtley sufficiently to express my gratitude for dealing with the situation and sensitivity shown to myself in the most sympathetic and compassionate manner yet guiding us through those necessary and practical arrangements that have to be made at such times.  Without exception they were all wonderful and made me feel that I could approach them at any time with a query and it was never a problem.
Most certainly I would not hesitate to recommend their services should I be asked who to go to in similar circumstances.
