As a family we were presented with difficult and unusual circumstances when a family member who lived a good distance away died. We were helped through the process to arrange everything we needed and to give our "lost" cousin a personal and moving funeral. We were given the best , kind and professional service possible

Lorraine was extremely compassionate and understanding of our needs in her approach and treatment of the family and of mum-in-law. She was very helpful and patient in guiding us through the process, decision points that were required and visits. She also contacted a celebrant for us to discuss further details of the funeral service and Kit was just the right person. On the day, all aspects of the service were professionally carried out by Lorraine, the celebrant and other members of staff attending. Despite it being a very small family attendance, it was still made to feel a special way to say good bye to a much loved lady.

Lorraine and her entire team are effortlessly brilliant. Meeting Lorraine at such a heartbreaking time was never going to be easy.

From the first hello I knew that she was the person whom was going to make my Mamas arrangements both well timed and perfect.

Lorraine understood the brief and executed it with both style and grace. No task, request or question was too much for Lorraine.

Everyone of the 150 guests commented on how special she made the day and how beautifully the day unfolded. 

From start to finish Lorraine’s care and attention to detail has been second to none, I cannot recommend her highly enough to manage one of the hardest jobs I have personally ever had to do. 

If you are looking for reverence, care and attention to detail, then Lorraine is the person.

This was a 2 place process as mum died at her new home with me but was cremated where she lived previously. COOP took care of everything easily, no fuss and at a sensible cost. I was guided and helped throughout the process with care and respect but in a friendly supportive way by Macclesfield office. On the day the Pontefract team were just as professional and respectful, especially to mum, but also friendly so to not make the occasion too austere. The coffin options were lovely and again not at ridiculous prices, the Yorkshire wool coffin made a stones throw from where mum was born and looked marvelous so the funeral suited mum as well as it could. Highly recommend the Macclesfield and Pontefract branches. Thank you.

Very happy with the way things were handled. A prepaid simple funeral but having the
options for the service (religeous or celebrant) was good as was the choice of the celebrant and on the day everyone concerned arrived promptly and things were very professionally dealt with.
