I would like to say that from the initial appointment with Alison we were treated like royalty.  She took us through exactly everything we needed to know about what would happen.  We weren’t ever pressured into something we didn’t need, she let us have time to discuss things with the family and never hurried us for a decision.  We felt that from start to finish it was very personal and intimate.  She kept in regular contact with us to make sure we were kept up to date and if we had any questions she would answer them for us.  Nothing was too much for her.  

I can not express in words how thankful we are for making mums funeral go so smoothly so much so that other attendees commented on how lovely the funeral was.

Everything was handled with sensitivity and the whole process carefully explained. Staff were smartly presented and all showed high levels of empathy, tact and awareness. All our wishes were carried out to the letter so that Barry had the send-off we had all hoped for. Thank you all so very much - my deep gratitude to you all.

All the staff at Handforth were brilliant, they looked after mum and the whole family from start to finish. Even rang afterwards to see how we were.
You have very dedicated employees you should be very proud.

The team were patient, informative and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Alison for putting up with my many phone calls and doing such a good job on the day of the funeral. I will not hesitate in recommending co-op funeral services should I get the opportunity.

Alison & Susie at Handforth Funeralcare have been absolutely amazing with myself & the rest of my family. We have had the worst 4 months but having both Alison & Susie there along the way has been really helpful. They are two of the most amazing people my family could have asked to help us in our time of sadness.

I would just like to say how kind and professional Suzie , Alison and Lisa have been at your branch at Handforth, nothing was to much trouble and as this is the only time I have had to arrange a funeral, not knowing where to begin they were marvellous in every way .

Funeral on Thursday was lovely and Alison was amazing.

I would sincerely recommend the Co op Handforth

-We couldn't acess the office in the afternoon on the day Allen Gichero had passed away, eventhough the staff who took him from his home told me I was able to go there by 1400.
- This lack of Empathy improved
- I was not aware that the ashes aren't in a urne but only in a plasticbag in the carrierbox
- we weren't asked during the first talk what urne we would like, or to think about it..at least I would have choosen one before the 13th the day of the cremation
I not angry at all, but think it is important that you know why I only put an average...because we had very good talks and the ceremony although short was led with dignity.Thank you all!

Very professional and extremely caring. Alison at Handforth was 5*. Nothing was too much trouble and was so helpful from the time we booked, to the day of the funeral. Gave my father in law a lovely send off.

Susie was very helpful. Helping me choose the right funeral for my   Brother. Always giving me advice as I had never arranged a funeral  before. 
On the day of the funeral Allison was was very attentive and supported me.

They accommodated the funeral service date I had requested and ensured that all aspects of the funeral plan were met by the date needed. Everything handled with great dignity and respect. Flags for the cars following the hearse was just a small detail but it was an inspiration. Really helped to keep us all together.
