We were very satisfied by the Co-op’s efforts to make the funeral run smoothly and with dignity. From the initial reporting of the death late at night, when we spoke with a very sympathetic lady, through the taking of our details with Mark Dunning at the Mill Road branch, and right up to the reception of the body in church and the burial at the cemetery, we were impressed by the thoroughness, efficiency and dignity with which the whole process was carried out.

Michelle was kind, caring and considerate right from the start. Both my brother and I have found the whole process very cathartic and that is thanks to Michelle. She has been a great source of knowledge and has been very well organised throughout. She made us feel like she cared as much as we do and she made the whole process much easier. We felt in safe hands with our local Co op funeral care staff who went above and beyond to make my partners funeral run smoothly. They even provided a driver to drive our campervan as part of the funeral cortege!

Everything was was well really just perfect! The presentation and dignity of the bearers, the car, the floral decoration on the coffin and respect shown to all.
Great weather too but can't give you credit for that!

My family and I would like to say a big thank you to Julian Tucker for his help and support to arrange my father's funeral. Julian was so warm and welcoming and he gave us reassurance and comfort for arranging the ceremony and making it personalised and special for my Dad. He is an asset to the company as he really does listen to the customers needs and requirements and goes above and beyond, his job is very personal and is a very special part of the customers life when saying goodbye to someone special. Once again the Co-op have provided exactly the sort of very personal service that we had hoped for. Although we were such a small party I cannot fault the service from start to finish.
