From the moment we contacted them they took very good care of us and Dorothy. Nothing was touch trouble and Rysnand Emma were brilliant. I am pleased I appointed Co Op Funeralcare and celebrant for my husband’s Funeral. They were caring and sensitive when giving advice and guidance. On the day the funeral and celebrant explained how the ceremony would proceed and gave invaluable support  throughout. All staff were considerate through this immensely personal and emotional experience. My thanks to them all and I would recommend them.

From the moment my Mum passed away on 23 November 2022, Fynle Lafferty-Brennan and Emma Mathews have dealt with every aspect of Mum's funeral arrangements with the utmost professionalism and kindness. After contacting Co-op Funeralcare Cambridge, Mum was collected from her Nursing Home swiftly and with dignity by Fynle and a colleague and she was taken to Rest while arrangements were made. From the moment Mum came into the care of Fynle and all his lovely colleagues, I felt as if she was treated like a member of their own family.

There were a lot of issues to overcome in arranging this funeral, as it was Mum's wish to be buried in The Lake District. Long distance plans are never easy, especially when it involved two Funeral Parlours, long distance transfers and especially as the funeral was the week before Christmas. Both Fyn and Emma went the extra mile to ensure that not only did Mum have the funeral she would have wanted, but also took time out to consider all the emotions I was feeling at that difficult time.

This is the second time I have used the Co-op Funeralcare in Cambridge, as I had the same funeral request for my Dad in 2010 - a long distance burial in The Lake District.

I would highly recommend Cambridge Funeralcare to anyone who wants to feel that their loved one is the most important person at that time to all the staff. Thank you to all of you.

I chose the Coop Funeral Services as this was recommended by one of the nurses at Addenbrooke's Hospital. The day was as I requested, however I find communication quite poor. I was told that i will be notified when the body will be collected, it didn't happen, no response to emails, so had to follow up with calls. I was told that I will be notified when ashes will be ready to collect, to date I have not had any communication (even though I was told on the phone last Monday that it will be last week...). its not an occasion when you have or want to chase for information, so feel that the attitude and treatment is quite distant, impersonal. I appreciate its everyday job, however a simple email can go quite a mile....
