Everyone we dealt with were professional and extremely patient. Losing a loved one is never easy and at Co Op funeralcare they made everything a breeze. Never felt pressured or rushed into making any decisions and gave us a reasonable date for the funeral. Would highly recommend.

Alexandra and all the staff were absolutely amazing. What was a very sad occasion for our family was made easier by their professional and personal actions. Cannot thank them enough.

Although Tracey our funeral director deserves an excellent i have had to mark the service down as it was extremely difficult to contact anyone by phone and in desperation I had to make specials trips to the office just to speak to anyone which i found very frustrating and upsetting when trying to make arrangements. I felt so sorry for Tracey as she obviously didn't have time to be as organized as i know she would have been if she had more help! Thank you Tracey for being professional at all times even when she was over stretched.

A heartfelt thank you from all of our family and friends, for a fantastic celebration of Phil's life.
We are truly grateful for the professional way that Alex and her Team guided us through the day and of course our thanks go out to Peter. His skills at conveying our thoughts of our Dad, in front of our friends and family, will be treasured in our hearts or ever. A truly memorable day. Thank you all.

I have used them several times and the quality of service is second to none. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Tracey gave us excellent service. Sadly getting hold of Coop funeral care was extremely difficult. I was in a queue for almost an hour to a call centre and it took lots of calls to connect with anyone. It was very tiring. I understand the reasons why but it was so unhelpful as I don't live in Bristol and phone was my only means of communicating with the Coop. Once I spoke to Tracy she was very helpful and caring and then things went much better.

I've left this rating because whilst the end resulting funeral at the crematorium went well, I felt we had to constantly chase Westbury Co-op Funeral Care for everything including getting a firm quotation which took them weeks, and several chases, to get across following our initial meeting with them. We also regularly struggled to get through to them and ended up speaking with the central support team who were no help at all. Generally disappointed given my family have used the Co-op before (different branch) and had a good experience.

Can’t thank you enough for a lovely service and all the help received from you from beginning to end.  Everyone has been so helpful during a very sad time.

Alex and Pete were so supportive and empathetic from the our first phone call, to the follow up call, the day after the service. Their professionalism and understanding of our requirements, ensured that our beloved Dad had the perfect send off. Thank you.

We were very pleased with the arrangements, the service, and the overall experience at the funeral of David John Rowden. Alex and Peter spent time with David's wife, Mary, and Miles and myself to ensure that the service reflected Dave's life and our wishes for the celebration of his life. They made everybody welcome at the service and conducted everything in a way that we could feel relaxed. Thank you on behalf of Mary and ourselves. Lynda

Didn't have any prices at the time of arrangements for the funeral. Chased many times but went through to overflow with no comeback. Finally go to speak to a manager to put things right. Had to chase again for return of ashes.

In my view the care is there at the time if booking and the actual funeral all went well. In the middle appalling

    Nothing was too much trouble

DO NOT EMPLOY THE SERVICES OF CO_OP FUNERAL CARE FOR YOUR LOVED ONE"S PASSING! I have never experienced such awful service. Westbury - on Trym are very short staffed , yet still taking on business. They lost my paperwork, I have called and visited in person tens of times to try and obtain an update. Head office don't call you back (however apologetic on the phone they are). The result is, my auntie's direct cremation took nine weeks to happen, they gave me the wrong date as to when it was going to happen, and they still haven't transported her ashes to my local branch, as arranged, almost three months on. The most appalling service I have ever received, which has caused a huge amount of upset and anxiety to all friends and family involved!

  • 5 Andrew Holbrook 16th Jan 2023

From the arranging to the service, everything was perfect, was kept informed every step of the way.

  • 5 Rupert Vernalls 16th Jan 2023

We couldn't have been more pleased with the service provided by Co-op Funeralcare. Alex was so friendly and professional throughout and made the whole process from start to finish really straightforward and easy. The service itself was wonderful. Many thanks to Alex and her team!

  • 1 Andrew Hendricks 16th Jan 2023

My sister passed away on 2 December and we all met with the Coop in Westbury on Trump on 7 December to make arrangements for her funeral. A date of 5 January was set and between these dates a long list of errors occurred (no coffin ordered, no order of service produced, no flowers ordered to name but a few). The whole process caused additional unnecessary worry and stress at what was already a VERY upsetting time. This is NOT professional behaviour!!!

  • 1 Tara Gillespie 10th Jan 2023

I have never received such disgustingly appalling service. The distress caused to myself and my family by the disrespectful and incompetent co-op staff on the morning of my brothers funeral made a painful day so much worse. My family and I have submitted a formal written complaint to head office, will be actively encouraging all family and friends to never use your services to plan a funeral and will be leaving a review of our experience on Google and Facebook.
