Everything was arranged and sorted by Co op Funeralcare, Patchway near Bristol. The pressure taken of your hands. Everything organised was perfect and as we wanted it. The whole team at the Coop were very helpful. The funeral went perfectly.

The Co-op has always been a tried and trusted company and so when I was asked by the nursing home which funeral company they should contact I did not hesitate to ask for the Co-op. The people there were sympathetic and kind. Arrangements were made easily and without any pressure. Each decision was made with understanding. 
On the actual day of the funeral everything was just as it should be….the hearse and the car arrived on time. The personnel were understanding and once again there was no urgency to rush, which is so important when saying a final goodbye to a loved one.

The only criticism I would make and in the great scheme of things it’s quite small, I wasn’t always able to get a reply from the local office and also emails were missed too. It was an unfortunate time of year …..spanning Christmas and New Year holidays . 

All in all, I would certainly recommend the Co-op Funeral Directors for their level of professionalism  and understanding of the sadness surrounding their customers.

The care was superb from the start. Every little detail was taken into account. All our wishes were included. The designated vicar was perfect, many people at the funeral asked if he was a family friend as he had gone to so much trouble to find out a lot about my husband.

On the whole it worked well. Lulu was brilliant but I felt at times she could have done with more support as on occasions the office was unmanned (a couple of times my brother got diverted to a central number up north who didn’t seem to know much about our case. The day of the funeral rang very smoothly and I was very pleased with it

We were unhappy with several aspects of the service we received. Lulu was very good and went out of her way to help. Whilst some things were beyond your control the reluctance of the coffin bearers to lift the coffin on to the bier was not acceptable. Although dad was being returned to your care the bearers request
to leave him on the trolley did not give any consideration to those that were grieving. The initial lack of response to our queries and concerns also shows a lack of respect.

Very supportive and showed compassion at every visit and telephone call. An extra big thank you to LuLu  and Nicky you were both so kind and made me feel less anxious. Everyone said it was a lovely funeral and I thank you all for that. Best wishes.

Was fine.  As I liaised directly with my local vicar, the service at both the Crem and church was exactly as the family wanted.  We had very basic services from the Funeral Director, and ordered our flowers from our chosen local florist, and my daughters liaised directly with the printer for the Order of Service.  Paige was very helpful on the day we booked everything, booking the Crem etc. very quickly whilst we were with her, on exactly the day and times we wanted.
