Whilst planning the funeral, the team at the co-op were very helpful. They kept me informed of progress throughout the process and responded to calls and emails in good time. The funeral went as planned and everybody was so helpful during this sad and stressful time.

When Dad passed away, Co-op Funeralcare in Nailsea were very good is how they helped us. Obviously this was a first time for all of us but the care, patience and help they provided was excellent. My mum is suffering from Progressive Dementia but the staff, Sarah and Liberty made sure she was included in the arrangements. I would definitely recommend Co-op Funeralcare

I have nothing but praise for Nailsea Co-op Funeral Care, my mothers ceremony was simply beautiful. The arrangements were superb and they delivered everything I could possibly want for my beloved Mum, providing an outstanding celebrant Alistair, grateful thanks to him and to Amanda Garnham for listening to our every need it was faultless.

Not forgetting beautiful Liberty Carey our undertaker who played a very precious part in the ceremony, she looked so beautiful and so gracious and dignified, kindly honouring our wish for her also the pall bearers to wear red ties, they looked amazing 🌹

The flowers were breathtaking 🌹🌹 and order of service also lovely. Mums final farewell was just perfect and is a very special memory I shall hold dear in my heart. Thank you to Co-op Funeral Services, Nailsea 🌹

Would have been excellent had I been advised when the cremation was happening, and when I could collect my wife's ashes.

The co op made arranging the funeral really easy for us we would definitely recommend them.

Considering the cost of this funeral both my husband and I thought the whole thing pretty bad.  We arranged to have the body clothed in our choice, and despite having this garment it was two weeks after the body arrived that this was done.  This was distressing and no reason for this delay was given.  Also two ladies seemed to be sharing responsibility for this funeral and several times one or the other did not know what was taking place.  Veery little sensitivity shown and a lack of caring.  We would say don't go to this funeral director, and we wish that we hadn't.

Very considerate and sensitive handling of Dad’s funeral by Sarah in Nailsea and the team on the day. Fantastic celebrant Alistair made the service about Dad and the family he left behind, and didn’t use a standard script. It felt like a real celebration of Dad’s life.

  • 5 Janet Gover 19th Jun 2023

Excellent service. And Sarah Hobbs was perfect.

  • 5 William Allwood 27th Feb 2023

Faultless!  Stephen and Sarah were amazing and really helped with making the arrangements for Dorothy’s funeral as smooth as possible. They were both warm and caring and nothing was too much trouble. On the day Kelly the funeral director was excellent, her team were  very professional and catered for our every need.
    Thank you all so much.

Nailsea were most considerate at a very distressing time and sympathetically guided us through. Helping us to make all the right decisions. I would thoroughly recommend them to look after your arrangements.

From start to finish we were treated with sympathy, respect, sensitivity and kindness. Steve and Sarah in the Nailsea office were totally professional and in our face-to-face discussions with Sarah regarding the particular arrangements for Dad's funeral we could not have asked for someone with greater empathy and kindness. On the day of Dad's funeral, Liberty, the Funeral Director was totally professional and treated our little party with kindness, humility and sensitive respect.
The whole team should be acknowledged and highly recommended.

They are very helpful and friendly caring service they made the service proud the only concern I had was they were ready to start Richard's journey without telling me but I was looking for my children but I fully understand that we had a timetable to run by apart from that all staff are amazing thank you all again

  • 5 Michael Le Mare 3rd Jan 2023

Co-op Funeral Care Nailsea have now looked after the Funerals of both my parents and I can honestly say they have been superb.

From first encounter to last they have struck a great balance between empathetic and kind but also practical and helpful. They never seem rushed and everything we asked was done to the highest professional standards.

I would, and already have, recommend them to anyone who sadly needs their service.
