Very easy to organise the funeral and staff were helpful and understanding.
They returned personal effects of the deceased quickly and in a soft pouch with card attached.
I received invoices through the post quickly.

the service was very good and we were looked after very bwell by everybody. we did have a hiccup with the pro tribute but this was explained to us and was not as problem.

My family were really pleased with Thatcham funeral care. Their service was excellent going above and beyond to accommodate our wishes.
A huge thank you to Leanne and Joy, they were amazing! With us every step of the way to make sure our late Mothers funeral went as smoothly as possible, it was a beautiful service.

I was very pleased with the service and  kindness I received .
Just a little disappointed the photo graphs  chosen did not get shown throughout the service but they allowed us back in to see them .

I left it all to them and had no worries about the funeral arrangements.
They did everything they said they would for the price agreed.

It's a horrible job organising a funeral but the staff made it as straightforward and easy as possible. They were quiet and calm and not over effusive. The whole thing went as planned. Everyone played their part with excellent timing and complete efficiency.

Serious Administration Issues - told there was a prepaid funeral plan on initial contact, yet at first appointment got the full sales pitch. Refused to get a preliminary date, until a death certificate was available, resulting in missing the newspaper notice. Then did not follow up contacting the vicar of the church until 3 days later, after multiple phone calls, it would have been better to make all the arrangements myself! Staff on the day of the funeral where excellent. Very disappointed as had great service 2 years ago for my father's funeral.

Myself and my family cannot thank Thatcham Funeral care enough. From the moment we made contact to say my Husband had passed away they were truly fantastic. They let us lead the way on how we wanted things. They allowed us precious time everyday to visit Steve in the Chapel of rest,which we will be forever grateful for. The collection of steve from the hospice was the way we wanted it,the embalming process blew us away,they gave me back my husband how he looked on our wedding day. The attention to detail from Lorraine in Thatcham was second to none,notjing was too much,from having his aftershave in the chapel everyday to doing me a hand sculpture which turnt out to be absolutely perfect. 
The day of the funeral was absolutely faultless,the small requests from the family were all met. We gave Steve the perfect send off.
Dean looked after myself and our son so well on the day and made all my concerns disappear. 
Nothing was too much for anyone involved in Thatcham funeral care,they are an amazing team of wonderful people,who will always remain very special to our family xx

The whole process was dealt with showing great empathy and dignity. The funeral director was extremely helpful and kind and talked us through the arrangements both the day before and on the day itself. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.
