It was a pity that it was not made clear to me that I would have to contact the Crematorium to give them instructions that the scattering of my late husband's ashes would not be witnessed, even though my instructions were for a direct cremation. The cremation itself was arranged fairly swiftly.

Amber very pleasant but ongoing mix up with payment as my mum had a funeral plan but branch took full payment- possibly not had plan to use before.  One month later still awaiting refund.  

Amber friendly , patient and approachable.

Amber unfortunately didn’t give the impression of a caring professional person at all.  She just wanted us to book and pay even though this should have been paid from our sisters’ estate via the solicitor who together with  the executor were appalled that we were asked to pay.  She didn’t   instill any confidence at all. Didn’t send a confirmation email as promised .  Didn’t inform us that our sister would be leaving from your Slough branch not Langley, we only discovered this when we went in to request a video link. Amber said she had a family crisis and had to travel north on an emergency.As we were leaving I then mentioned that the flowers were being delivered to Langley branch as requested, she then said  as an afterthought we would have to tell the florist ourselves.  Well ok but she obviously didn’t give a dam about our feelings.  All in all our experience in the office was awful .  To make matters worse my sister went in to the office to collect Elizabeth’s ashes on 4th January and reminded Amber that she promised to email the revised bill after our request for an audio link.when reminded she said oh yes I will do it now!! Also we asked for the grey shawl that was with Elizabeth at Reading, Amber said she would get it when Elizabeth reached Langley.  Amber went to look for it and came back saying it went with Elizabeth.  We most definitely requested this when we took clothing in for our sister to be dressed in.  The co-op funeral care has been severely let down by this unprofessional girl.  We are left  traumatized, bewildered and very upset.  Regards from Mary Childs and Patricia Conant sisters of our much loved sister Elizabeth .

The Funeral arranger was very professional and understood our needs and the wishes of the deceased. The funeral day run smoothly (as it can be), very experienced funeral director and celebrant. I only didn't give a 5 as they put the wrong music at the end and some members of the congregation complained about it to me.

From the moment I walked in to the office to the final day at the crematorium the service was excellent. Amber was excellent at finding out about my father and getting a feel for his life.
She went through all the options in a sensitive way although we knew we wanted simple.
Amber was slightly aghast when I walked in two weeks later to organise my mother’s funeral/ cremation . But she was able to liaise with the crematorium to have a send off with our parents together. This in itself saved every one the pain of going through two cremations in two weeks.

Absolutely wonderful service from Coop in Langley. Amber Jarvis was outstanding. Could not fault anything. In fact I was so impressed as were my daughter Claire & granddaughter Ellie I am taking out a funeral plan for myself. At a difficult time Amber handled herself with dignity & respect. She answered all our questions with knowledge & understanding. Danny too was superb on the day of the funeral as was John. Thank you coop you are the best ❤️
