First off, Siobhan can not be faulted. Very attentive, very respectful, with great empathy.
However your man Rae leaves a lot to be desired. I would expect a funeral director to be immaculate in appearance . Sadly Rae wasn’t. His frock coat was in serious need of a brush and there was a hole on the back where a button had been torn off. 
There was supposed to be a collection box for donations in lieu of flowers, again sadly that never materialised, and apart from meeting us at the door, I can not remember seeing him again.
The assistant at the crematorium again was , again in my opinion, less than smart in appearance. I would have expected at least a full coat, and not shirt sleeves. I did mention  this to Siobhan and she was told that on warm days the staff were permitted to take off their coats, so I have to accept that being smart is not a requirement of Aberdeen Crematorium.  Also,  it was far from warm in Aberdeen that day
We paid £55 for for a video link so our loved ones in Australia and France could join us virtually. We did get a link but this was cut short almost as soon as I stepped off the podium. I would have expected it to continue till the last of the mourners had passed on their way out. The family in these countries were really annoyed at this . 
Siobhan has apologised to me, which to me was wrong as she did her very best to do everything right.
You just get one chance to do things right at a funeral, sadly you didn’t!

They were very good at listening to what I wanted for my wife's funeral and making sure that every detail was double checked before the event. Their attention to detail was welcome as I was having to make decisions at a time of great shock and grief. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
