The issue with body transportation to Aberdeen was quickly resolved meaning my dad's funeral could be conducted on Friday as planned. Very relieved everything went smoothly.

We as a family could not praise Laura and her team enough. Laura went above and beyond to make sure my precious mum had the beautiful send off she deserved. Nothing was too much trouble for Laura, she put us at ease from the first moment we met her. She takes her position very seriously which shines through with her professionalism, compassion and making us as a family feel we were her number one priority. Laura kept us updated with everything regarding the arrangements and even contacted us just to make sure we were ok. Laura is a credit to your company and amazing at her job.

Laura was my funeral director, she has been supportive and understanding all the way through leading up to my dads funeral, the help and advice/guidance I received over the phone and by email as I live near London and trying to arrange a funeral wasn’t easy, she made it easier for me. Apart from a minor issue related to Covid the arrangements were well handled , the staff were kind understanding and handled the funeral with consideration and kindness . It's difficult to imaging that the funeral could have been handled better

Very good and caring and thoughtful and could take as long as I wanted when I was going in to see my wife. Time was no object for them. They are well organised when it comes to the funeral day. Also they try there utmost to keep costs down to a minimum. And very friendly people couldn’t do enough for you very good at keeping you up to date as to what’s happening. If I was ever in that situation again I would use them 100%

Steven was really supportive and understanding at all times, and although he was on annual leave on the actual day of the funeral, Laura also did an excellent job. 
At all times, Gilchrist’s made an extremely sad time in our lives more bearable and looked after our mum and us very well.
