With extensive grounds by the River Ouse in the south of the city, York Crematorium has many modern facilities for your loved one's funeral.

Two chapels are provided for the service: White Rose and Ebor. White Rose has space for 100 seated and 100 standing, with an electronic organ and flat-screen display for photographs of your loved one. Ebor, a more private space, has 25 seats available. Both have access to a Wesley music system which has a library of most commercially available music. An audio recording or webcast option may also be arranged.

Many options exist for memorials at the crematorium. Inscribed plates are available for inside the Chapel of Remembrance or Summer House, plaques and planters can be placed in the Memorial Gardens, or urns in a sanctum niche. Of course, you may choose to scatter ashes in the Palace Wood's peaceful natural setting or order an entry in the Book of Remembrance.

There is a 60 space car park just outside the grounds of the York Crematorium, with four disabled parking spaces nearer to the entrance and accessible toilets within.
